Would not be surpised if that is the next thing for Euro freestyle windsurf boards...... cos the more fins the better at the moment, and backwards fins must be aweeesssome when sailing backwards fast

Put some techno music in the soundtrack and bung it on youtube and the masses will buy it.

Anyone remember those 'square' fins that looked like they came off the tail of a 747? Would have been mid eighties also.

I remember one surf shop owner saying to me that the aero-engineering industry spent a lot on money on research and design - so that was the thought behind them... I said "yeah well, Dolphins go through the water (not the air) and don't have square fins"...

I think they only lasted one season.

Nothing wrong with a fin without a raked tip. Just have to know how to surf it.

It would stall suddenly, not gradually.
