Man that would suck.
But, does it still start? Would be amazing if it did.

Got their priorities right though.
The only thing they saved was the Eski, 5th photo.

What can you say, Bugga!!!!!!

new fuel, oil ( and filters ) and a can full of " Start ya Bastard " ( i love the fact they named it that ) and she will start. It is a HiLux afterall. If you saw what they did to the one on Top Gear you would have faith.

PS : HOw did the windscreen break ? It looks intact in the Tide out photo but broken when back in the yard ! Was the car just dragged out using brute force chassis could be compromised.

It is a HiLux afterall.
It's a 100 series with a dual cab conversion. Looks like a 1HD-FTE engine. Expensive car to sink.

The problem with pulling a car out of that sort of tide..and soft sand, is if you don't use brute force...and a lot of common sense ..the person doing the pulling out will also end up the same way
I Have seen cars that have just been left forever,..up past Broome!..
Just because, ...there is no way in hell to get it out!...
That sand can become like cement..

I have seen a big yellow tractor thingy...go in to get a car out of the sand and then get stuck..and then ... having to wait for a big tide 11 metres, to pull the tractor and car out..and by that time the car and tractor are cactus.
It's usually people that have not got a clue about the tides in the north of Australia.
