are there any internet experts out there that can find me a clear diagram of Braine self steering
ive tried for 2 hrs and only got an image that is crap.
its for a project that is Big ,but smaller than my usual builds
any help would be great
thanks gizmo,
so how come I cant find those images when I google the same thing?
I rather prefer the jib self steering for this baby
Do a google search (subject you want to search)... then at the top left of the page click on 'IMAGES' ...... Hey presto !!!!!
Then click on the image for more info...
Your going to have fun now!!!!!!!!!
For example do it with the word 'Landyacht' and your eyes will light up.
Are you a mass murderer? What's with the wall of terror
those are all tools for woodworking!!!!!! working fn huge pieces like entire trees. every now and then a customer wants a hewn beam for a building and theres only 1 person in town who's relearnt how its done( is a really great way to lose some kilos!!!!!) look up broadaxing timber
this is definitely not a shed to blunder around in in the dark.
but during the last earthquake nothing fell off most of the gear is 1890-1930's kelly , but the broadaxes are all english brades except the one I mainly use which is the smallest, I made that with an axe and a truckspring. took 4 days in a forge.
the double header was made by me to see just how hard they would be to use. result was that you need to be 6'+ and about 120kg to even pick it up .
isnt that right TP1
managed to create a double sided self steering to the jib with a assist set up to the main. needs tuning of course , probably with a variety of rubber bands. in the mean time it fits nicely in the lounge room
plan is to find a big dam or small lake with its own sunshine supply on the weekend
almost 200mm deeper
we got it on the water today and the steering worked too well
tended to snake downwind, so we moved the main sheeting till it works partially agaainst the jib steering. much nicer , and would go straight across the dam
hows that for a good day out. a great way to destress after a busy week
just for you buster for finding that great video, heres the broadaxes and hatchets, basically a woodplane for whole trees
