Sorry I missed last Friday night guys but y'all seem to have done well musically without me.
Went to the Sunshine Coast for the weekend to attend my son's high school rowing team's participation in the South Queensland Rowing Regatta.
Well!!.......Didn't little old Bundaberg State High School put a cat amongst the pigeons?? There were 21 schools represented, including the large and very well funded private and church schools and Bundy got the 5th highest medal tally. We had 12 on the team of which 10 won medals. They were supported by some dedicated parents which involved transporting two quads, two double and five single sculls 350 klms to and from the venue.
We are all extremely proud of our youngsters so in celebration I give you this little number from Little Feat.
"Darlin', oh darlin, your'e the best thing I've ever seen."
No wind!! No waves!! Them's the "Bad Weather Blues".
Hey Cisco.
It's not Friday.
The birdman's got talent. Sound is spot on for a street recording. Is that an amplifier under the blanket? A mike hidden in his beak?
A Brisbane girl band friends of ours daughter plays in.
The Ovaries.
I've always loved Talking Heads cause I could sing along with the music and be in tune.
I've posted this track before - I can't help myself: the song always makes me feel humble. A rare feeling for me.
A band like Talking Heads only come along:-
