Here is a bit of "Sex You Up" music from 1974-5. The great Tim Buckley.

There was not much videoing of music going on back then so live recordings of this guy are rare.

Many would be accquainted with his son Jeff Buckley's music.

Yes. According to the Underbelly Series, Marc Hunter was getting his smack from Terry Clark (Mr Asia) and his mates.

Big Sam left Seattle in the year of '92,
With George Pratt, his partner, and brother, Billy, too.
They crossed the Yukon River and found the bonanza gold.
Below that old white mountain just a little south-east of Nome.

Sam crossed the majestic mountains to the valleys far below.
He talked to his team of huskies as he mushed on through the snow.
With the northern lights a-running wild in the land of the midnight sun,
Yes, Sam McCord was a mighty man in the year of nineteen-one.

George turned to Sam with his gold in his hand,
Said: "Sam you're a-lookin'at a lonely, lonely man.
"I'd trade all the gold that's buried in this land,
"For one small band of gold to place on sweet little Ginnie's hand.

"'Cos a man needs a woman to love him all the time.
"Remember, Sam, a true love is so hard to find.
"I'd build for my Ginnie, a honeymoon home.
"Below that old white mountain just a little south-east of Nome."

North to Alaska, Great post Peter.

So if we are going a bit country, how about this one. Original and Best???

Best maybe but not original apparently. This it seems is the original.

Also Johnny Cash Willie Nelson - Ghost Riders In The Sky - excellent

Couldn't find it with video but sound is great.

Had to include this.

when i was 13 or so,33 years ago i would listen to Big Bad John song on parents radio-gram nearly everyday, got to know song off by heart.

favourite song is still Green Fields Of France by John Mcdermott.

Scottle Royale's catchy, informative song that i posted year back is another favourite.

That little guy is great but the other bloke--naah.

It is Gene Pitney's song and the movie had a very convincing Lee Marvin as Liberty Valance with John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart.

See and hear here:-
