My next door neighbour picks his Diavel Carbon up next Wednesday, went with him when he placed the order and we haven't even seen one in the flesh yet!!!
165hp cruiser, it will be a rocket ship!!!
How much on the road, approx?
How long ago did he order it?
Just curious!
edit.... about $32,000 ! thats better, leave your harleys with boring paint jobs and give me some more italian loving just cant beat a duke mmmmmmmmmmmm
Sorry Mac, I was referring to my avatar - it smokes like a chimney. I, as in the real person behind this avatar, doesn't smoke anymore
At $32,000 the Diavel is a bargain compared to farm machinery such as a Harley Davidson or the 2007 MV Augusta F4 CC (Claudio Castiglioni) for $185,000 here:-http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=10349318&__sid=131BDF0940BA&__Qpb=1&Cr=0&__Ns=p_IsPoa_Int32|0||p_RankSort_Int32|1||p_HasPhotos_Int32|1||p_Make_String|0||p_Model_String|0||p_YearMade_Int32|1||p_PriceSort_Decimal|1||p_PhotoCount_Int32|1&keywords=&__N=1432%20604%201430%201429%201626%201428%204294967237%204294955635&seot=1&__Nne=15&trecs=1&silo=1400
Not the Diavel but a Ducati none the less in an interesting comparison.
My next door neighbour picked up his bike this week and I got some photo's this morning.
In the flesh this bike (I think) looks amazing and it sounds AWESOME!!!
Oh yeah, and the grass is artificial
At he risk of upsetting the Ducatisti
ahem V Max
Cant get away from the fact that when I see an exposed trellis frame I expect to see a minimalist machine (ie Monster).
I am sure it will do everything well (modern bikes are great) , but styling wise its very bulbous around those induction intakes.
The header pipes are awesome but the rear can looks like a bmw part - will a set of termi's slip on please
I just realised why this bike looks almost familiar, looks a lot like the 1700cc Yamaha MT01 but with carbon.
