They are great, when they are running. I guess that's the issue with them.

The reason I smoke is because I'm wise. Unlike you - who is about to get dumped on that wave you've been riding for the past two years.

The salesman would not even talk to him unless he was prepared to pay the full retail price and if he "placed his order today" he would give him a discount of something he couldn't disclose until he signed up for it!

(Aplogies in advance for any vehicle sales people out there)

What a bunch of knobs!!!! The reason given was if they discounted the new bike it would cheapen the brand which was the same line for all the Ducati dealers here in Perth... All two of them... IMO it borders on collusion but it would be time consuming, difficult and costly to prove. There is not enough dealers here obviously to inspire competition, same goes for Harley Davidson here in Perth.

He ended up getting a small discount of $500.00 off the recommended retail price which I thought was $31k (had a couple of red wines tonight so maybe it was 32K)

He was told when ordering mid July that he should expect delivery about the end of August but it took a couple of weeks longer than anticipated, no surprises there!!!

Can't wait to see it and hopefully take it for a quick spin

At $32,000 the Diavel is a bargain compared to farm machinery such as a Harley Davidson or the 2007 MV Augusta F4 CC (Claudio Castiglioni) for $185,000 here:-

Not the Diavel but a Ducati none the less in an interesting comparison.

At he risk of upsetting the Ducatisti

ahem V Max

Cant get away from the fact that when I see an exposed trellis frame I expect to see a minimalist machine (ie Monster).

I am sure it will do everything well (modern bikes are great) , but styling wise its very bulbous around those induction intakes.

The header pipes are awesome but the rear can looks like a bmw part - will a set of termi's slip on please

I just realised why this bike looks almost familiar, looks a lot like the 1700cc Yamaha MT01 but with carbon.
