People on the other forum mentioned this Mission to Mars too, I'm looking forward to it. Can my engineering degree and eight years working as an engineer prove an advantage?

Thanks for the link, will check it out when at home

This one tickled my nerdy engineering bone for quite some time:

Had a really productive afternoon at work - Now I'm stuck on "four balls". The steam-locomotive method doesn't seem to work the way I've done it, so I think I'll try a more paddle-steamer approach..

My favorite so far is 'up the stairs' (at least I think that's what it was called! too many machines since then!) where you have to get up a flight of stairs while little balls get in the way and stuff up your machine.

It's all a bit like scrapheap challenge only without the welding and grinding..

I wish I hadn't read this thread! Mission to Mars is as far as I have gotten so far, but pretty fun. Mine worked first time for a change and looks like a great carnival ride!

OK Mr engineer swotty dude, explain to me how women volleyballers 'costumes' (if you cant fit the word 'costume' in pt 10 font on the item can it be called such?) stay in place?

Surely it must be some kind of advanced nano technology or even an anti-gravity drive modified to become an baconstrip super magnet?

I'm not sure, but I did read an article on these uniforms not long ago, apparently they are engineered to keep the athletes cool in warm playing conditions. The story is in the photo captions:

You live in New Mexico?

I still haven't had a go at it, I got on the silly sauce with Saffer last night and left my laptop at work. Tonight, methinks.

omg, type in random numbers to designs and you get to see some real effort people have put in, funny when it takes you 1 minute to make something sly to do the same thing
