Not a fan of AFL but for many years all the Eagles fans have taken the p!ss out of the Dockers for losing.

Now that West Coast can't win anything it is "oh we've got a young side and it takes a while to develop" etc etc.
Didn't hear the Eagles camp saying that about the Dockers now, did we?

I think it is hell funny, sucked in Eagles fans for taking the piss and calling them Dorkers and so on a few years back.

Yep I've been a Freo supporter from the start and was at the game on Saturday, it was a great atmosphere.
Great to see the young guys doing so well, for the record we had 10 1st or 2nd year players to the Hawks 1.

Although Crowley has been fairly good at tagging Ablett over the years I think you will see McPhee get the job for the majority of the time.
He did a good job on him earlier in the year and was great against Hodge on Saturday (although I don't think Hodge was anywhere near 100% fit).

I love the way all the media types who were bagging Harvey two weeks ago when he rested players are now saying it was a brilliant tactic.

We're FRE-MAN-TLE we're dynamite.

Agree, good game and good to see them hard at it.

Congrats to freo and maybe it is finally time for some Freo fans to stop hating the Eagles first and supporting the Dockers second.

Yep - it will be a very long climb back for the Eagles.. As a dockers fan you can either revel in that and act like a prize turkey (just as you say Eagles fans did) or you can just enjoy your own team's success - whilst it lasts.

Good to see a WA team going well, but a BIG ask to beat the Cats next week.

Don't worry about Funky, he gets nose bleeds if he has to cross the Fremantle Traffic bridge to head south of the river.

Not quite planning on turning purple (or picking up the soap) just yet.

I used to live in Freo actually.. but I got better after a good bath and much therapy.

For the record i just love a good game of footy and if the Dockers are playing well (er.. except the last 10 or so derbies) I enjoy watching em win (right Diver) It's only the rabid, brain damaged and semi-blinded fans I don't like.

Pity Freo aren't playing Colliwobbles next week. I'd just about put on a Freo jumper to barrack for the Dockers then!

"Women's shoes only" - glad they made that clear.

"Great gift for your girlfriend" only if you want a new one!

BTW - who is Gay Dean? Was he part of the G&L marching band that used to do the Anchor ceremony back in the day? Boy those were great to watch (as an Eagles supporter)

you know my funniest moment was being at the adelaide/Freo game when modra retired from fotty and some freo supporter wrote a song about modra and he was touted as Freo's own tony modra ?

LOLwut ...

There was a group of us sitting in the stands going , err modra is an adelaide boy and simply came here to be paid to surf for a few years :P

5.30 on the Teev!

Seriously WTF!? Live is usually good but half of Freo/Perf will still be dealing with loud mouthed bogun tarts on the train at that time.

Must be one of 2 live games all year.

Kn AFL/Ch7 just don't give a fig about the West - even when it's a WA team in the kn game!

Funky

I reckon we are lucky to get it considering the choice of star studded events that Ch7 faced with programming tonight. It must have been close!!!

So are you going??? Bound to be a full house I reckon

I'll slip on me best acid wash denim speshly for the big occasion.

Hope half the team turns up!

Poor ol' Glassy, inherited a poison chalice after "I can biff anyone coz VFL luvs me" Juddy and white-line-fever-Benny split. A true champ cut down by injuries this year.

Still can't focus onya own team ay Diver?

I'm just gonna go give the silverware a polish.

Until tonight's opportunity all the Dockers have had to polish are their Fevmets.

Who knows what the next couple of weeks may bring?

EDIT: Feel sorry for Haselnut (really). Would be nice to see one more run of the Haselnut/Pav bromance.

I reckon that the team won't be there coz the supporters will be turning up with wooden spoons, to give the players the sort of disipline they should have got as children.
