my employer GBS gold finishes mining tomorrow after going bankrupt to the tune of ariound $400M and it's big news up here. I'll be out of a job.
this tune popped into my head the other night and i recorded it on the laptop at camp and posted it on youtube for the workers out there to enjoy. The local paper found it and gave it a plug too.

Please enjoy.
critics go your hardest. (i already know i can't sing to save myself)

contains language that may offend some people.

What Liz said. Green Day would be proud. Isn't the original called Good Riddance?
Good on ya and good luck.

So we gonna see ya back in Adelaide Col ?

Hope we do, we can come and use your local knowledge to find more secret spots where there is some isolated wind pattern when everywhere else is calm and promise to send you pictures that we never do...

But seriously - hope all is ok, take care mate.

Not likely to return to the SA for a while yet. Still lovin the top end too much.

That "secret" spot is a bit of a phenomenon hey! works most days but still flat enough to float a pin.

I got pictures and vids in the end though. Thanks.

top work. goes to show there can be great times had ,especially in some of the ****tiest jobs. as always it is cheaper to close up, than clean up . been there ,done that . back when I was doing that sort of thing I could swear Pine Creek was a copper/uranium mine from the 50's
