for some reason my pc is not allowin videos to load...

but I assume this the clip you posted...

(

)

i have family who own three mcgarbage franchises.... and they won't let their own kids eat that crap.

we had a conversation about the socio-economic loctions of mcgarbage resturaunts and the the telling factor is.... they are more prevelant in low income and low educational demoraphics than anywhere else.... (my family associations have no problem with this and have revealed that they indeed have targeted their consumer base in thier business model, justifying that if there customers were smart enough they would know not to eat it in the first place.)

'because smart people know crap when they see it.'

i could go on further about the discussions we have about 911 and the zionist control of the australian public, but you all probably would prefer to believe the news media reality..

go feed you kids a happy meal....!

(they hound you for it because tv tells them they want it)

Or, we hear another person crap on about 911 and the zionist control of the world and laugh under our breath because we are generally too kind to laugh out loud. We nod , try to avoid eye contact and attempt to shuffle off before the 911 theorist can start on the well worn "jet fuel only burns at 550 degrees " path. How could the world be so wrong! and you might just be the only person that can see through all the lies of the world (yawn)

No way. That is a lie. The USA are specifically targeting the poor and uneducated by feeding them garbage food and forcing them into a lifestyle that traps them in an existence that they cannot escape. The Illuminati are also in on it and are turning the rest of the population into fast food eating zombies!

These conspiracies are everywhere!

First Maccas for the town opening here this weekend...good for giving kids a head start with employment & giving them the opportunity to manage their own finances though. Can't eat the food, gives me heartburn!

Whoopee, let's target McDonalds again.
We all found out their food was junk so they McMade a healthy choices menu.
We all found out how much money they make, so they started funding large charities and sports, including Auskick and Ronald McDonald house and various homeless charities. Shame on them!!
We found out they target dumb and poor demographics.
So they put in place a management cadetship program for their employees to get better jobs and get ahead and also started one of the better maths tutorials available to everyone for free!! Bastards!!

Jeezus, if only more businesses would respond to public demands the way McDonalds is forced to, there would be alot more opportunities for their demographic to get a foothold and stay healthy.

Oh sure bring on the "they just do it for publicity" and they're still killing us with their junk food.

McD's is your personal choice, (and they even offer you a healthy(er) choice.)

If you're DUMB enough to eat burgers and chips every day after all the **** that's been bashed about by junkfood critics for the laast 20 years, then you probably deserve heart disease and obesity.

I just wish chronic McD's made people infertile, that would solve another problem altogether.

I know the link is tenuous but ...

I was walking to work this morning (from the car park ) and I saw a couple sitting on a bench in the street. The woman was grinding out her cigarette butt on the ground.

I was thinking "typical dirt bag smoker littering up the place", when she popped both butts into a snap top portable ash tray and put it in her bag. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised.

We only have anti-smoking laws because all smokers are inconsiderate bastards. If they were considerate then we wouldn't need the laws, we wouldn't all hate smokers and their would be less of a problem with smokers.

(Yeah I know that the fear of litigation is the reason we got the laws but we wouldn't need them if smokers self-regulated their behaviour.)

Re: MacDonald, why does it take so long to get anything? It always takes ages to get through the queues, they're usually out of whatever I want and I have to wait for it. It's never worth the irritation.

Why is it so expensive to get fed? A single salad or burger is not enough to fill me. By the time I buy a few extra things I'm up for $15 for dinner.

On my regular long trips I have a number of good restaurants on speed dial on the phone. I can ring ahead and order a wood-fired pizza for $13 that is waiting when I get there. Half the pizza does me for dinner and I can have the rest for lunch the next day.

I worked there 2 years and saw a lot so.. I don't eat it much. Not to mention that peculiar stink that washing could never remove from the uniform. Anyway 17yr olds in charge of 14yrs olds cooking your food... it's a dangerous thing.

But to play devils advocate I gotta say that maccas have loads of healthy options now and you can buy decent food there if you choose to do so. They copped a lot of flak and changed their ways a bit. And they have always given heaps to charities - not just the house for cancer patients but heaps of minor local support. As opposed to say Hungrys or kfc who have no healthy options and don't give anything back to the community. I find it a bit ironic that it's always maccas that gets the kicking when they actually try harder than the others.

I stopped eating it when I realised that I had more time on my hands, that is when I started thinking. And also realised that the feeling of rejection that came in the form of nausea after eating them, I was a 1/4 pounder man, two, and the general disfatisfaction they gave me was not worth the experience.

I was starving and pushed for time at the station the other day and tried a Whopper.

Maccas is nothing more than a big money making corporation selling crap 'food' by any means necessary and paying big bucks to make the unwitting public to think they are fantastic.

Do you really believe Maccas gives a sh!t?

Substitute "Maccas" with any company name, and "food" with cars, banking, insurance, shoes, pharmaceuticals, computers, TV sets, pens..... blah blah blah

Know what you mean. I go for ages not having that stuff. Long enough that one day, I've forgotten and I'm in a hurry. And then afterwards, I remember why I don't eat it.

they started sucking me back into there food ways when they made Iced coffee shakes part of the permenant menu, but then it was only in the drive thru, then one day they just stopped. when they asked what I would like instead , I was stong willed enough to say, " I only come here for the IC shakes, I couldnt eat your burgers"
the manager seemed rather understanding, when I got to the next window they were rather confused that a customer had bought nothing

I do love a Maccas. Pretty much an annual treat or something I do when I want to stink out the office with "the taint".

One of my friends is proud of the fact his kids have never set foot inside. So tempted to get them happy meals next time I babysit.

The food is crap and not very good for you, but it's possible that a lot of quite high end restaurants don't make much healthier food

No Cisco - do not eat the fillet of fish. I used to make that **** in one of my innumerable jobs. I'll spare you the detail but the pet food factory at masterfoods is about twenty years ahead in terms of hygiene.

I got a copy of a book a few months back by Thich Knat Hanh a while back. I am by no means a budhist but the book came recommended by a mate.

In his opening chapter he talks about eating mindfully discussing in detail how food should be chewed up to thirty times. He even talks about chewing his milk!

Anyhow I have never been a big eater but thought I would give it a go.. Aside from being decidedly antisocial it is impossible to eat much more than 60% of what I would normally.

The point Hanh makes about it being cheaper is very pertinent and does allow you to be more selective.

And it does wonders for your digestion
