Don't care if he is Russian, American or Martian, he plays with some cool toys.

But I doubt if that was "6 or 7lb" of Tannerite as he said, more like half a pound maybe up to 2 lb max. I have shot up to half pound and it looked about the same as that. If doing 6lb he would not be anywhere as close (that distance is about right for the half lb targts I did).

Don't see the ACR is particularly exciting, it is virtually an AR15 clone with an EOTech sight. Half of America owns something that useful. Wow

I av posted FPSRussia before.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FPSRussia

Still not sure how he affords to shoot off 10k worth of ammo for a 2 minute vid. Maybe this has something to do with it?

Now FPSRussia is one of the Youtube elite with over a million subscribers (16th most subscribed) and with over 250 million views.

He is essentially no 16 in the world for Youtube. Gotta be worth advertising bucks.

I dunno he literally has hundreds of vids. In one he said 'you better enjoy this it's 10,000 dollars worth of ammo' whether or not it's true. I think it was all tracer, or incendiary rounds, or maybe explosive rounds. All are pretty expensive compared to normal ammo.

He said this was pretty expensive too

The main thing I like about the ACR is its foreward handgrip, makes it much more stable to shoot with, like the old Owen subby our diggers had.
Having said that- we in W.A. have been deprived of up to date toys like that since forever.
Most of my milspec stuff dates from the 1940's, one from 1909 and another from 1916.
I cant quite match the ruski blokes rate of fire, but can still crank them out at a respectable rate.

tannerite is toy stuff anyway, designed for reactive target shooting- its just a flash-bang compound.
Its a lot more interesting using standard no.8 dets for sighting in your rifle!

Nah steve, don't like the forward grip it is unnatural for offhand shooting.
More tacticool than useful.
I do like an AR with picatinny rails like that, a bigger forend is nice.

Sold both my stocks so I don't have any toys to share at the moment, will let you know when I have more testers avail toward end of summer (ish)

Sorry, an interest in guns makes him a psychopath exactly umm why?

Formula1 drivers are no better than the bogan trash who run down kids at school crossings and take out people's houses next to roundabouts. Same logic.

Last time I was forced into maccas, was after visiting the rifle range with a mate and our offspring.
The kids had hit us up for the cash for a junk food fix (nothing unusual there) and dumped the coins on the counter- along with a heap of empty cases and spent projies they had collected during the day.

The only comments were from the counter girl telling the boys what the different calibres were and another mum and dad in the line telling thier kids "thats what grandad has on the farm"
Along with lots of smiles and curious looks from parents and kids.

Loggy- you would be surprised at what the real community attitude towards firearms is, once you get away from media indoctrinated sheep.

Tell me stephen, what do you think the "real" community thinks about firearms. By "real community" I'm assuming you mean the majority of Australians. Or do you mean the people that you hang around with, or maybe you mean the people in your town or something. I'm pretty sure that the majority of Australians are keenly "anti gun" apart from the ownership of a gun by a farmers. Do you doubt that? or do you think that the rest of the population aren't "real"

Yes mate I grew up in the country, blew up all manner of living things with crackers, shot guns, .22's etc etc. BUT.....there comes a point when you look into the eyes of a beautiful creature that you've just shot......and you realize what you've done. You've just destroyed something for your own excitement, your own "sport". If you don't feel slightly dirty at that point then I reckon there's something wrong. If you can blindly carry on ,reload and not think about your actions.....well....

Anyway, these days It's all I can do to catch a trout and kill it. I feel better if I eat it but only slightly.

I think it's growing up, and seeing the world....and animals as more connected than I did when I was 19

Is it pr?...what about planes, what about bombs...what about gas...on a train..
I think you can use anything if you really want to inflict something on someone.
what about Hitler and his fear and hatred campaign...that's a weapon.
what about ratsack in sizzler's food bar?

I am sure you could talk me under the table about this stuff pr...
but to me psychopaths have a brain function that's different to most in the humane race and they can be anyone at anytime and choose anything to inflict their
insane mental rantings and ravings onto.

Wasn't that guy that locked up his daughter in Austria a psychopath?
and he used fear and brute strength at first to keep her under control.

In saying all of that....even though I have been a shooter...
I am EXTREMELY glad with the gun laws Australia....
even if there are 100's of undisclosed guns in 100's of homes in OZ still.

He already told you.
His example showed you that when they walked into Maccas and paid with coin and some empty brass was in their pockets that everyone there had a healthy, normal appreciation of firearms and didn't treat them as weirdo's. Not just his shooting crowd, not just his town - it was normal everyday australians in Maccas.
Unlike the fear whipped up by the media and far left. Your comment that somebody who likes firearms is a psycopath shows that leftie lean. I guess you will now have me believe that only right wing gun nut rednecks eat at McDonalds?

BTW I also marvel at, and enjoy looking at/reading about, other feats of engineering like cars, space shuttles and fast planes. I also enjoy the precision and challenges of learning to windsurf and surf, as well as the extreme difficulty of long range shooting. How exactly does an interest in shooting make one a psycho?

As to you feeling bad for all the dead animals you shot, next time you enjoy a loaf of bread, beer or cabbage leaf, thank a farmer and a recreational shooter. Cos with intensive farming and introduced species we'd be lucky to sustain half our population in Oz without shooting. Like it or not, there will be a requirement to cull.

If youa gree with culling and then move onto target shooter, you'd better ban javelin, fencing and archery whilst you are at it. They must be fkn psycho's to use those weapons for sport.
