Noticed this spectacular "starburst" effect on BOM's animated National Radar Loop.



What has caused this? Fireworks in Geraldton tonight?

Don't worry too much
that is just satellite imaginary of Whirlpool that progressively swallow whole continent.
By the time it reaches Queensland take years !!
