so what happened to all you retards who enjoyed the 'invisible children'???

You talked it up, you felt all warm and fuzzy when you sent your $35 but all is quiet on the western front!!!

Yawns!

Kony and those other coconuts don't even know what twitter and facebook is in Uganda! You think they have wireless and dial up in the jungle?? There twitter is AK's and 4WD mounted machine guns.

No problem from my side. just don't see the point in arguing over it. I think its a great thing Kony 2012 and have sent my money, even passed it on a shared it with as many as i can. I read there info sent out and am happy to move on that way. I don't see the need to prove my point to anyone, just like the negative camp is hell bent on..

Me i like charity, people argue with me everyday about sponsoring charity's. But i normally only argue the point when i see the benefit and there's non to be had on Seabreeze IMHO

But if your interested Kony is currently grabbing kids in the Congo..

I think Gullable is a sad call. It's about the message not how its delivered.

Keep up the negative though Nob, if thats what your all about

EP the film was never made or targeted at the Actual Ugandan people. The showing of the event was set up from start as a bad publicity opportunity. The negative camp got exactly what they wanted..

I just don't understand. If you don't want to get involved that's cool, by why do people see the need to spend the rest of there time devoted to trying to debunk it? I actually spend a fair bit of time arguing with paid trolls so i guess there paid to try and make a point or organization look bad. But for the rest of the negative folk i just feel sad for..

But you have to admit, the film portrayed Kony as being very active in Uganda. And he hasn't been since 2006.

Don't forget to buy a Osama Bin Laden 2001 Kony 2012 bracelet.

Unfortunately it's the culture and as mentioned above, no amount of aid or charity will change it.

Acutally in the film it states that Kony has moved out of Uganda and is now active in the Congo and Central Africa area.

And now all the children are in the Ugandan army.
www.unicef.org/uganda/

Can I assume the U.S. Forces that Kony 2012 got sent across to Uganda are now assisting the same child soldiers (them still being soldiers). Or is it OK now because they are on our side? Confused.

As I stated way back I don't quite understand the plan. If there is one. It's a nice gesture, and nobody is *against* Kony 2012's ideals, it's just that in practise it looks ...dodgy. And perhaps a little naive. The Ugandans hate it more than anyone. That tells you *something*. I mean the same people in the remote villages that the movie is purporting to help are throwing rocks and having a mini riot at the screening of the film. This is a big hint.

Have a read of what the people that live there are saying.

It worked for me as i just sent money, ordered a pack and t-shirts for my kids as well. My kids grown up in a society were they worry about which surfboard to use, but they will apreciate that not everyone has it that good..Sum have it far worse than most can imagine.

Didja get ya pack yet. What was in it? A Kony t-shirt and a cuppla stickers.

What are you and ya kids gunna do on April 20? Walk around wearing your Kony T-Shirts all solumn faced, yelling "Kony Kony" at passers by in the street, while vandalizing Tootgarook with ya stickers?

How does it feel now. Knowing the guy who made that film is a wanker?

Bahahahahahaha

The White Savior Industrial Complex is not about justice. It is about having a big emotional experience that validates privilege.

Hey Dusta WTF!?!?!?

I just thought I'd check this thread to see how it's progressing & see that I must've been 'sleep-netsurfing' or my other personality (who by the way disagrees with all my opinions) has obviously been drunk & doing acid which would explain why he used my login & password, typed some absolute bullsh!t & posted things that go against every fibre in my body...(dramatic enough?). After about 1min & 14secs of research I realise that you have simply f*cked up & quoted someone else...with my username at the top.

If you're going to try to quote someone, learn to use cut'n'paste correctly! The top quote is what I posted, the bottom one was posted by jbshack. If you read my original post...why would I send money? From the beginning my point is that no amount of money will fix it as it's a political (and cultural/demographic) issue.

Can't be fixed now I guess, and I might not seek legal advice for 'character assassination' or 'identity theft' if I receive a sincere apology...and a pretty bunch of roses. Maybe Laurie can look at fixing the quote system so mis-quotes can't be done easily, although it would take the fun out of the windsurfing/kitesurfing debates.

No we haven't got them yet. As when i sent my money through it told us then there was going to be a delay and sadly the pack would not get here by the said date. I have no issue with that.

You can argue this anyway you like. I simply replied because i the question was asked what was happening and it seemed to refer to people like myself who support Kony 2012 were duped and we now feel ripped of. I don't feel duped as unlike i hope most of you i did do my research. Maybe i have a different level of support for those less fortunate then myself but i cant see how my supporting a charity is a problem for any of the knockers I'm not criticising any of you for not supporting so i can't understand the need to knock and be negative. In fact you're IMHO being very destructive to a good cause and i simply can only put that down to your personal character. As i have said before the human race always continues to disappoint so nothing new for me hear.

As for the CEO and his health, well sadly people do suffer from mental illness. It is a real issue and maybe another good one for the knockers to go and attack.
