I dunno, that rhino looked like a real threat! It must be well trained, as it never moved the whole time. 
It was probably just a chance for the NZ police to practice for when there is a real threat, but it does seem a bit over the top.
I'm waiting for the Hollywood Movie version!! Shame that John Candy isn't available for the lead role! 
Lots of fun that day for my nephews who live just down the road - they loved seeing all the police cars and helicopters buzzing around. Massive over the top display - certainly influenced by the presense of the FBI one would imagine...... Its great too see that lots of the stuff has now been thrown out as evidfience that can be used. Love it. He may not be the most moral person in NZ at the moment but he is there legally and should be treated failry and by the laws of the land whilst that remains the case.
