Mega Moon eclipse timelapse

Apparently this is one of the 3 biggest eclipses in the last 3000 years (a perfect run of the moon through the centre of the earth's shadow - the moon was in full eclipse for 100 minutes



I was shooting off a wooden deck so you will see a few bumps in the track of the moon - oops.

The shots at the end are actually the eclipsed moon - the camera is pulling the image of the moon in shadow - which again i have the slow shutter hack to thank for.


As you can see -The moon did go red

as promised."

Thats unreal. I'm working just out of Tom Price and it was an amazing thing to see.

that city limits timelapse is awesome

- i'm calling done in stills with a 5d and some seriously fine lenses

heres the ash cloud sunset this arvo, not in the same league as above though, just a nooby with a new camera
