Funny how it still goes relatively unreported - Death Toll now over 300 ......people literally freezing to death in the streets......

If it was a heat wave that killed 300 it would be all over every media form and every climate change fanatic would be all over it like a rash.

So they still can't predict what next winter will be like and get it right but we are happy to take their forcasts for next century as gospel. Go figure.

In many parts of the USA they've been complaining because there's been no snow all winter.

Back in the old days you payed tax to look after God and all those appointed to attend to him/her. Nowdays you pay tax to look after mother Earth and all those appointed to look after her/it.

Too hot, too cold, too dry, too wet. Its all due to human's effect on the atmosphere. News flash, there was weather 100 years ago.

It was in the news that the EU has brought in a carbon tax on aeroplanes landing in European airports. Talk about shooting yourself in the head. Their economy is going down the drain and they are taxing the tourists and business people from overseas who were prepared to spend some money there. Basically a big FU to foreign visitors, go spend your money elsewhere.

I think St George.....is getting payback....not climate warming....because

they normaly pinch the flow of the river at Cobby Station....maybe this flow

will just wash the obnoxious structure away......half their flooding problem

is that they have land planned the country side flat and level to grow rice.

all natural drainage and undulating ground has been man made eliminated.

sad, sad, sad.......................

I lived in Spain for 7 years 1990-1997 (Valencia, Barcelona, Ibiza)... it never snowed below 2000m... I went through every winter riding a motorcycle without gloves, hands would sometimes get cold.
Frost was a rare event... FARKING snow in Mallorca, far out!

A bit more and we have carbon problems solved
At sixty below carbon dioxide will solidify.
Should dissapear from atmosphere.
We could even build a snow man then or ski on it

Not really that strange, almost every year it snows in Mallorca, only not by the sea... Here in the NW, it snows by the sea but only every 4-5 years, and snow lasts a few hours before melting.

As I said before, this storm was the worst since 1956, so it's happened before.

Climate is changing, as always, human influence locally significant, not so sure about globally...
