THE ANNIVERSARY OF SHAME

Today, Schapelle begins her NINTH year of torment, for a crime which her own government know she is innocent of. They have known since 2005.

These are just some of the proven truths which the corrupt and criminal are terrified of being exposed. They are cast iron facts which the callous and the cowardly are desperate to hide, and which the Australian establishment and media censor from the people:

1. Schapelle Corby's boogie-board bag was the only one not scanned at Sydney Airport: it was diverted past the scanner by baggage staff. Customs Minister Ellison withheld this vital information, even when Schapelle Corby's lawyer asked directly about scanning. [Transit Report]

2. This information was also hidden from Parliament, when direct questions were asked, and critically, it was withheld from the Bali court. John Howard, and his friend, Head of Sydney Airport Corporation Ltd, Max Moore-Wilton, also kept quiet about it, when they both knew. [Transit Report]

3. The AFP never investigated the reason for this missing screening data, and AFP Commissioner Keelty, who also knew, never commented upon it. [Transit Report]

4. Schapelle Corby's bags were subsequently found to be 5kg overweight on the Qantas system, when she had checked her bags in, underweight, without any excess charge ($175). [Transit Report]

5. Again, neither Schapelle Corby, nor the Bali court, were ever provided with this critical information. [Supplementary Report]

6. Two weeks before the verdict, AFP Commissioner Keelty told the media that there was no evidence of airport drug syndicates using innocent passengers, when this was clearly, demonstrably, and utterly, false. The AFP had held the Kessing Reports for months, and it withheld a host of other vital support evidence, which proved the long term and systemic nature of such syndication at Sydney Airport. [Transit Report]

7. The AFP and DFAT demonstrably evaded the forensic and DNA tests which Schapelle Corby begged for. [Mutual Evasion Report]

8. The AFP also told Parliament that it couldn't perform marijuana pollen tests, when it could, and indeed, had originally offered to perform them for the INP. It also refused the services of a forensics expert, who had volunteered to perform them. [Mutual Evasion Report]

9. Ellison subsequently told a clearly false story about marijuana testing, in a letter to a constituent. [Mutual Evasion Report]

10. DFAT did not invoke the MACMA treaty to obtain the sample of marijuana which Schapelle Corby begged them for, when it could have done so within the provisions of the treaty itself. [Mutual Evasion Report]

11. The AFP and Qantas provided wholly contradictory stories about the missing CCTV footage, which Schapelle Corby pleaded for. [Transit Report]

12. Foreign Minister Downer, and Prime Minister Howard, publicly endorsed the original Bali trial, when they were well aware of the multitude of legal and human rights abuses committed throughout. [Bali Trial Report]

13. Ellison publicly endorsed the burning of the evidence, when Schapelle Corby pleaded for it to be preserved. [Mutual Evasion Report]

14. DFAT have, de facto, endorsed and suppressed the ongoing documented abuses of a mentally ill Australian citizen for eight years. [Health Report]

15. ACLEI, when forced to examine the AFP's role in the affair, was directly and demonstrably complicit with an AFP officer, in producing a report which was an utter embarrassment to all parties. A functionary, who was at the heart of the Howard regime when the AFP abuses occurred, was allowed to rubber stamp ACLEI's complicit rubber stamp. [Whitewash Report]

16. The government forced an Australian QC, Mark Trowell, on to Schapelle Corby. He then decimated her appeal by attacking her defence team to the media. When he subsequently admitted that he was working for the government, and not for Schapelle Corby, the government hid, refusing to comment. The precise role of Justice & Customs Minister Ellison, Trowell's long term friend, in this affair, has never been explained. [Insider Report]

17. Downer and Howard publicly called a standard flour hoax a “biological agent” and a “murderous attack”, when there was no evidence whatsoever to suggest that it wasn't flour. Neither of them said that the note included with the flour didn't even mention Schapelle Corby, and was even written in Bahasa, when they promptly blamed it on her supporters [PowderGate Report]

18. Ellison did not alert the parties necessary to prevent the false (but support-wrecking) story from circulating around the world, when he was informed of the benign nature of the flour, by email, at 6:35pm on the same day [PowderGate Report]

19. The government seized Schapelle Corby's book royalties, when she was still in legal process in Indonesia, when it knew that this would signal 'guilt' to Jakarta. It brought the Australian judiciary itself into disrepute, by illegally extending its jurisdiction outside Australia, and holding secret trials, at which Schapelle Corby was not even represented [Political Seizure Report]

20. The government thus denied her the funds for another appeal, and for medicine, even though it was well aware of the nature of the Bali trial, and of the vital primary evidence which it had, itself, wilfully withheld [Political Seizure Report]

21. The dozens of breaches of the Freedom of Information Act, with respect to requests made on behalf of Schapelle Corby, for information held on herself, remain totally un-addressed [FOI Abuse Report]

22. The AFP suppressed a secret recording of two known criminals discussing the collection of marijuana from Sydney Airport on the same day that Schapelle Corby flew to Bali [Candidate Sources Report]

23. The Commonwealth Ombudsman has supported the government with respect to every complaint ever lodged relating to Schapelle Corby. The same applies to every other quango presented as a watchdog to the public. [Quango Report]

24. Serious broadcasting media abuses, including criminal matters, which were submitted to the government in 2011, were excluded from the Finkelstein media inquiry. Compelling evidence of political interference with respect to the ABC, and evidential proof of subsequent editorial and reporting abuses, continue to be ignored. [Media Reports]

25. The current Attorney-General has refused to accept a formal Crime Report, including a 450 page evidential Addendum, which documents serious breaches of the law by politicians and the AFP [Crime Report].

Truth is Schapelle's best friend. Let's take these truths to the world, shouting from every rooftop until Schapelle is free. There must not be a tenth year.

There will be the standard detractors that say 'that is the law in Indonesia' and whislt this is technically correct, I agree with you Doctor - this case is a farce - if she was in Australia she would have walked free due to conflicting or lack of evidence.
Unfortunately in Indonesia the law is open to manipulation.
The Aust Gov should at least try to repatriate her to Aust to serve the rest of her sentence in a humane way.

In that case the question remains unanswered.

Who did it, who is letting her take the fall?

The mother? The sister? The sisters bf?

I have heard there is quite a market for the devils weed over in Indo.

Its a niche market supported by the x pats.

Crime dont pay.....

Strange that you should say that.
People who have spent time in a number of prison systems, Indonesian, Australian,.. American,,. say that they preferred the Indonesian system much more than any other.
The difference is that when you are locked up in an Indonesian prison, although conditions are much more basic, there are far more freedoms and you sort of regulate your own life and existence under the rules of the society set up inside the prison mostly by the prisoners, and to a large degree is a reflection of the society rules outside the prison walls.

In an australian prison almost every detail of your whole life is regulated all day every day by rules set up and rigidly adhered to by the prison guards. Most people find this realy hard to take on a long term basis.

That 'evidence' woulda been just ever so slightly more credible if you included the links.

Yes, baggage handlers were probly in on it. She's still guilty.

They're a ratbag family into all kinds of things. Dad organised it, that SA drongo supplied it, and the sister was in too. Only reason she was busted is that someone had pinched the indo bribe money outta the bag.

My thoughts exactly - is she such a dangerous identity that whole sections of the government had to risk their positions & integrity?

Doc might be right, but I'm with kiteboy dave on this one - ratbag family, although the difference is that I honestly don't think she did it, her brother seemed like the obvious suspect & as they are a "ratbag family" I doubt that he'll ever fess up.

Again, only a theory that makes sense to me from the media dribble I've been fed...I don't have the patience to delve deeper into a case that will just go around in circles for years & does stink of some form of corruption.

I guess the only people that will know if she is really guilty or not are her, and anyone that may or may not have been involved in the 'set up'.
If she actually guilty then the sympathy factor is pretty much zero.

What does grind the old gears though, is that she is still locked up for some dope, while some people involved with the Bali bombings that killed hundreds have already been released

I don't see that site being credible - lots of their points are just silly. Others sound OK, but are clearly wrong. Some aren't even an argument at all, like 'she will never have kids'. If you blend emotion and logic into a list, you're not very good constructing an argument.

For instance my first thought was the same - why smuggle snow to antarctica? But it turns out australian snow is much better than the local stuff, and expats will pay even more than they would at home for it. So it does make sense after all.

Yes, the whole rest of the family might have used her. But I doubt it. Occams Razor and all that.

They got to save face. In the report that was mentioned into Sydney Airport (commissioned by Aus government after 9/11) they not only found that bag handlers were involved in baggage tampering, theft, courier work and miss us. They also found CCTV cameras were being turned of and on to suit them in this case.
They found something like 43 people who did not meet qualifications or standards to work in a Airline capacity.(ie criminal back ground checks) In fact 17 of those were deported after being found to be illegal citizens. The report was conducted to test how safe our airports were[}:)]

All the evidence is out there. The only people who can be directly linked must work in the airport system. Who ever had access to the bags after they were checked. So how can it be her family

Did you not read the bag weight changed 5 kilos after being checked in QLD

Our government, even if she was guilty ran away from her like no other. Why

Even when you re read the Bali court transcripts the Judge offered a plee, if the Aussie government asked for leniency (given the likely hood that she was innocent and the drugs were actually from a bitched baggage handler delivery) That they would do so. But our government said nothing. Even though they had arrested a guy that day who said he was to receive the drugs when they passed through Sydney

Our government had all the answers. But they didn't just sit on them, they openly lied about them[}:)]

+1 to Sailhack, I believe the brother used his own sister as a mule without her knowledge. It was amazing how fast he denied ownership of the boogy board when confronted by customs officers. Most people with nothing to hide would have responded with "yes it is ours"....

The Missing CCTV is interesting. I was involved in a tender for the CCTV system at the international mail centre at Sydney airport a number of years back. At that time there were 2 systems setup side by side, one connected to the air line, the second totally separate connected directly to customs. Both looking at the same view.

I would have thought international baggage handling would also have had the 2 systems...

I believe this is the truth. I also think that there was a payment dispute with the Indo official who was paid to ensure it all went through OK. He wanted more money. The idea would have been that Schappelle without knowing about it would be the perfect carrier, young, healthy and unaware. No nerves at all.

The other classic screw up here is that everything is for sale in Indo. They reported that they were offered to buy their way out of trouble. Rather than being intelligent and paying the money they took it to the Aussie media creating embarassment and strengthening the resolve of the Indo's to ensure there was no reprieve.

Take that young kid for example that got done with the foily in Kuta. The oldest scam in the book. Dealer sells the drugs, cop catches them, takes a bribe and the drugs and gives them back to the dealer. Repeat process.

His story went a bit further of course but there is no way he got out of that with a 50 cent fine. Someone got paid off here.

A very good friend of mine for example lived and worked in Bali, her competitor paid immigration $10K to have her deported for theft as she was on a work visa. The solution was to also pay $10K to immigration and to leave for 2 weeks, free to return as she pleased. She paid up, accepted that these things happen in Indo and moved on. Everything is for sale in Indo........

Hello? Anyone ever felt how heavy a bodyboard and bag is? Now add 5kg. You would certainly feel the difference - like at least double the weight!!!!
The Corbys are grubs that got caught running a nifty little operation selling high grade dope to ex pats in Indo. I heard there was some sort of screw up with paying an Indo official. Ah but this simple explanation wont feed all of those conspiracy theorists out there. There has to be more dark and sinister explanations right? DEAD WRONG

Could you imagine corruption existing in a country where to be a cop or customs official you have to buy your own motorbike, gun and uniform and then get paid minimal wages?? You need to get your Return on Investment somehow and tourists are like going to the ATM.

Happens more often than you'd think

Indo is corrupt everyone knows that, she should have paid her way out, guilty or not.

It is remarkable how a boogie board full of pot got through Aussie customs.
Could have been a couple kilo of explosives.

I wonder what financial damage to Bali came from a **** load of Aussies choosing a different holiday destination because of the unjust system.

Er, that's not how it works Doc.

Where you've said "[Transit Report]" and "[Supplementary Report]" that's where you put the links to the actual reports.

These are not in any way, shape or form the actual reports.:
docs.google.com/file/d/0B3_bPdNYWfcPNjRiZDg5YTQtNjllNy00OTFhLTgzZTQtZTI1MjFiNTY3NGNm/edit?hl=en_US

Do you actually think they are the reports? Really? How? I do not understand. They clearly say "Strictly Confidential (lol) Hidden World Research Group". And then expendable.tv down in the footer.

It's so amateur it's laughable.
