Took this on my climbing trip in the French Alps in February this year. It's pretty crap, but all my good photos or on another computer. Maybe later.
This was on one of my solo climbs at around 3000 meters.

Nice pic! what peak is it I kind of recognize the the scenery specially the valley on the far right.........

That's in Chamonix. Was climbing from the valley floor up to Brevent. Hard climbing solo but plenty of fun :D Across the valley is Guile du Midi and the infamous Mont Blanc. I REALLY REALLY wanted to solo climb to Mont Blanc...but they lose a climber a day on average there and I was alone so crossing the glacier/icefall was probably more dangerous than playing Russian roulette with a normal pistol

Especially in the middle of winter. Talk about full whiteouts coming outta no where.

If I can be bothered later tonight I'll try and load up some more panoramic

I thought so, the valley on the rite side of the pic is the Rhone valley in Switzerland, I was born there, I used to fly sail planes in the area, I did a lot of trekking in the Swiss alpes when I was a bit younger and yes that was one of the best feeling ever, did a lot of ski as well but never went to Mont Blanc! Very nice pic.......... remind me of a lot of good memories!
