Would there be 2 billion Muslims if it wasn't pushed onto other people?

No, people who aren't raised into Islam rarely join it under their own motivation!

"No Bacon or Sex? Prayer 5 times a day? In Arabic? No thanks.. "

If people didn't push it upon gullible adolescents then there would be nobody knocking on Busters door on Sundays.. Simple really..

But thats not the case, so it must be held accountable, and the best way to do that is with laughter! The most powerful weapon available..

even using terms such as "Rainbow Serpent" to me demonstrates one sidedness and not approaching ideas with open mind but just using opportunity to mock something. Just because most religions sheepishly claim about white bearded god creating planet with a magic wand, doesn't mean that there isn't a valid intellectual argument about intelligence behind complexities of life as opposed to random chance.

First there is nothing random about evolution, mutations are random, but the selection process is anything but.

Can you explain to me the valid intellectual argument for this intelligence? Or point me in the direction of an intelligent argument for this?

for example, i've seen some very plausible in-depth scientific analysis to support evolution. But i've also seen some equally very plausible in-depth scientific analysis to point towards case of intelligent designer. I'm not claiming which one is more valid than the other, but i fully recognise that both sides of the argument have very valid claims backed up by science/logic etc.

Can you provide a source?

If you propose an Intelligent Designer to explain Complexity then you must explain this Intelligent Designer.

Anything capable of creating the universe would have to be far more complicated than the universe it created.. < This is the fundamental flaw with ID, it postulates something infinitely more complex to answer the problem of complexity.. It's Bunk..

Sure. If you are interested in some lenghy reading, PM me and i'll send you the details. I'm not a mormon nor jehovas witness, so don't want to promote nor push any such topics nor beliefs here. All i'm arguing about is that all possibilities have to be thoroughly explored before dismissing anything.

Yeah, a Human is far more complex than a car. If you found a car in space, you would know it was designed by an intelligent designer.

But the designer has to come from somewhere, and the only known process that a complex designer can arise naturally from uncomplicated origins is the process of Evolution.. The non-random survival of randomly varying replicators.

Simple life on this planet may have been 'Created' by an Intelligent Designer, Aliens seeding Galaxies with RNA spores perhaps. But the Aliens MUST have a natural cause, they would have Evolved..

If Humans started to travel space, I'm sure we would enjoy seeding planets with DNA..

Note: The universe is not complex, it's just a sh!t load of Hydrogen and some Dark stuff..

Would it really hurt to read my post?

I said rarely didn't I? People are hardly bangin down the local mosque trying to get in on the action..

No the large numbers of new Muslims are children who are unlucky enough to be born into it. It's the largest growing religion due to demographic reasons.

(It is interesting that 100,000 have converted in the UK in the last ten years, and 75% have been women.. Madness! www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/women--islam-the-rise-and-rise-of-the-convert-6258015.html )

The fact we don't know where the Hydrogen came from should bother us as much as not knowing what causes Gravity..

Evolution is only an explanation for process that formed life on Earth, it's only 3billion years old. Anything before that and you are now talking Physics, no longer Biology..

Don't confuse Evolutionary Biology with the Big Bang.. That are kinda different.

^^ Boys I did address Flysurfers point that I hadn't checked my facts.. If you would only read.

I said people who aren't indoctrinated into Islam rarely join up later in life. Islam was just an example, not many people convert to anything later in life.

Your nit picking, and if thats the only fallacy you can find in everything I have written then it's a pretty poor effort.

Flysurfer points out it's the fastest growing religion by conversion. I provided a link showing that in the UK in the last 10 years there have been 100,000 conversions.

100K out of 62million people converted to Islam in the uk.. Thats about 0.015%, which is rare in anybodies book..

Doggie I only quote peoples posts when answering points directly, I don't see anything wrong with that..

From Wiki-In Australia, census data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics give "no religion" the largest gains in absolute numbers over the 15 years from 1991 to 2006, from 2,948,888 (18.2% of the population that answered the question) to 3,706,555 (21.0% of the population that answered the question).[31]

So the fastest growing Religion in Australia is no religion.. Who will I argue with now?

Sorry barn IMO i would not quote anything out of Aus census as a lot of people say they don't care and don't want big bro knowing there business so they don't fill it out properly anyway..
There you go mate you can quote that

i think most Australians don't like people asking or trying to know there business especially in the sanctuary of there own homes. so when we get a tap on the door regardless from a religious person or not we feel uncomfortable, its so confronting.
when Religious and political pushers tap on my door they all get the same reply

P!ss off

i just hope my god has a nice big bacon sanga waiting for me at the pearly gates
