Still waiting for the anti-brigade to address the established science:

I've a mate that used to surf every day on the Gold Coast. Every day. Total addict. You know the type. He was able to go along on one of the boats that service the nets and drum lines one day, about five years ago.
He hasn't been in the water since.
I've another friend that works on trawlers in SE Qld. He doesn't go in the water either.
Why the fuss over the WA sharks? Are they more special? Are the people less spec... oh.
It's a media beat up and we just get carried away with it, this stupid statement comparing drownings which are a big killer to shark attacks. ABC!
I don't care about any science the bleeding hearts will put up here. I just reckon it's great to see some sharks die. I don't care which ones or size it anything. Just shoot it. I caught a Spanish mackerel on the weekend and everyone said great job. Catch a shark and people cry. I am hoping one a day. Don't think about it, just shoot it. So long as they put a good, serious dent in the numbers!!
Actually my apologies. The bloke above is right. My contribution there was pretty poor. Truthfully I believe the action taken is appropriate but obviously some scientific management needs to be used, obviously. To be truthfully even as passionate as I am about this issue, I'm just sick to death if the discussion. Obviously I should not have contributed then with that attitude. I just thought bugger it... Even I am sick if hearing it on here.
Most of u shark huggers are so far up ya causes arskahole you dont even get irony/humour/sarcasm
The odd shark will get impaled on a hook, no dolphins turtles or whales...but if sharks are so freakn rare then not many will commit hara kiri on the size 14 hook will they
....destroty the ecosystem .......really.......really!!! Cmon
late starter... i think you are spot on with your comments. Should we mention the culling of thousands of kangaroos, our internationally treasured animal.
Give it a break you uninformed do gooders and lets see if shark management in WA can be as successful as it is in QLD.
I am very surprised at all the Shark Haters considering this is Seabreeze and everyone loves the water, they just don't like what is in it.
