Knock, knock, is anybody there... Hellooooooo, anybody there? Social media is what you make of it, just try not to take it too seriously. Seabreeze is great and I'm having fun with it, and have learned a few things from various sections.
Facebook is interesting and network with some work mates and family, 43 in all. Only hints I have for that is; (a) don't friend your parental units as a younger sister did, and get updates and dating advice from Mum 20 times a day, with cat, bird and dog pictures and dating advice from Dad; (b) never post any personal pictures or information that you do not want to come back and haunt you, as a former colleague did when he posted a lovely picture of himself and young female companion sharing a lounger at a hotel. His missus was less than impressed, as was our employer as it was his sister-in-law...
Thanks for lamebook Mark, managed to lose half an hour paging through it!
Sorry M_a but I think you may be in denial :
Social media
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Social media refers to the means of interactions among people in which they create, share, and exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks
And in this case Wikipedia must be the authority given that it is, itself, a child of the social media generation.
I am off to make a ham and pickle sandwich now. lol.
