Does anyone here know of any business that supplies parts for Toyota Hiluxes? One that would be able to ship to the US? I know someone looking for some particular body parts but not too sure where to go to source them.

thanks

They should but may be expensive too. I'm also looking for other vendors that may have parts cheaper too. I found Motorama, how do I place an international call? Is there a special prefix?

Any ARB stockist will do it, you will need to do the ground work, Ie find out what this guy wants, then get all dimentions, weights and how many items, then approach a shipping co.

Good luck.

Don't you guys have Hiluxes in the States?
I know you have the old toyota 4-runners, pretty sure that some of the front quarter panels, bonnets and other bits will fit a hilux.

go to your newsagent and buy a calling card, its a bit like a pre-paid phone card...... your calls will be ultra cheap (half a cent a minute) you just have to punch in a stack of numbers but its better than getting a massive charge on your next bill I have ozcall.

Yeap Hoop's got it. Tacomas are what we call'em. Funny thing is everyone over here drools over the Hilux...especially the offroad crowd. It's the diesel option and solid fron axle...that and a boxed frame I suppose. Stock Tacos and 4Runners are quite capable themselves but I'd give the Hilux the nod at the end of the day. What the hell is a Hilux anyway?

I do like Greenlander's rendition the best.

In Australia Hiluxes are marketed as 'unbreakable', check out this classic episode of 'Top Gear' to see why.

It's called 'Killing a Toyota - Parts 1, 2 & 3'

I love em.

I work in spare parts at Fremantle Toyota...
We do send parts to Africa so U.S. shoud'nt be a problem you can email us parts@fremantletoyota.com.au
Part numbers are essential as your v.i.n. numbers wont work on our catalogue system.
cheers

More likey (+)61, the (+) being the code for International calls out of the US of A. Here our Internation code is 0011 or 0018, depending on how you like your bill to be calculated, ie: per minute or half hour blocks.

International calls go like this:
(international code for your phone carrier)+(country code)+(area code)+(local number)
Generally you need to drop any zeros from the front of area codes.

They have brand new 4Runners in the states and they look realy good. For some reason they stopped them over here in the mid 90s and brought in Prados and Klugers. I'm sure they go well but they dont look any where near as good as the new 4Runners.

Kluger (of a kluge) has to up there with Pajero (wanker) for unintentionally appropriate car names.

Does Prado mean even bigger w@nker?

Perhaps Cayenne (Porsche) means not quite hot enough to get an in denial middle-aged desperado laid by a young model! Well not one that's young enough to be sporting her original headlamps/face!!
