Nothing showing on the ground day Banner, other than some soft blather
Nothing from the property group in regards to footwear, with the number of "boot slips" on one of the AFL's better grounds by the players.
Nothing across the Half back line to build on
Nothing in the centre line to build on. Even Boomer Harvey from North Melbourne reckons the best, being Priddis was as slow as the second coming

Nothing or near on nothing with the on-ballers.
Nothing from the logistical group that has past coaches sucking bucks for pizz all return
Nothing in the guts department from the players on game day
And NOTHING" other than some wimpy comments from the coach each time he is questioned on performance, with soft sooky tags like "we know where we are going" boo hoo your a shadow of the former great Whoosha He sounds like a whipped dog nowadays
Nothing on the finals horizon for next five years, even if they trade aggressively.
Its all beer and wine while your making a huge marketing profit you Nothing losers, but its success on ground the spectators and supporters want at the final siren.
This lot is that bad, even the East Coast media have shut up complaining about them to the degree they once enjoyed.
Even the footy show on Nine last Thursday, when Billy Brownless was asked for his tip on the game, could only talk about "sports bet"

Watched a re-run of the 1980 GF between Collingwood and Richmond on 7 this morning. What a clean precise game compared to the rubbish being dished up in the modern ruled changed game No ugly packs on the ground, allowed to develop, it was either in the back, too high or holding the ball.
Players would play to the rules. Noways, two different games on a weekend, and one could be excused for thinking that there was two different codes being played.

I was living in Melb in the mid 80's when the Eagles started. Boy did i cop it at school. Would have got less stick growing braids and sporting an I love Boy George t-shirt.

I had vainly hoped that the Eagles would be around 8-10th this year.

It is gonna take a lot of upheaval in the club and some astute drafting (no draft priority is not gonna help) but with more contemporary guidance they will claw their way back. Gonna be a slog, but just look where Melbourne are at the mo. Richmond will be better next year too.

It won't happen overnight.. but the mighty Eagles will smite the feeble Eddycentric Vics again.. someday.
