When it flys it looks quite weird with the sack on its tail hanging down like undercarriage!

It's a one of those weird disjointed arse insects.

You'll be dead soon, your only hope is to suck on the rare black meat of the giant aquatic Brazillian centipede...

Hope it didn't lay any eggs under your skin that may move around and hatch then start eating you from the insde out.

That sack on its tail is its tail - abdomen.
The insect is a hornet of some type. Their sting is quite painful.

If it abdomen hangs down when it flies then it's a hornet.

Austalian Potter wasps are important in the natural control of caterpillars. Although capable of stinging, they are rarely aggressive and never even bother us!

unlucky sting then - paper wasps are shockers and look hardly anything as fearsome compared to that sucker

Yeah I think hornet...... I saw a massive one on the golf course green stinging a huntsman spider both were large and it was actually kinda freaky
