Not so sure about the whole 'sun god' thing, but he does raise a good thought on the origin of the pyramids themselves.

What a load of bull5hit - with erroneous "facts" like 5.3 sq km base area, that would make each side at the base around 2.3km long. Somewhat larger than the actual 240metres or 53000 sq. metres.

Well he said 13 acres. That's 52 ha - approx 230 m x 230 m. Its a straightforward conversion error.

I thought the construction had been figured out but I guess I'm wrong. There's no mystery about how they handled stone though. There are quarries with unfinished extractions up the Nile somewhere. The stones were split with magnetically focused nuclear plasma jets and transported by nanobots, billions and billions of them. They came from the future through a stargate no, wet wood wedges. The faces were finished by stone rubbing I think but dont quote me. Maybe it was nanobots. I though there were records of taxes and service records etc that explained the admin and logistics. I must have dreamed it.

pretty obvious. how the heck can a conspiracy theory come out of this one?????

some seriously loose cannons out there.

Who said anything about a conspiracy theory? There is one hell of a lot of unexplained evidence that a civilisation existed before the ice melted. Far too much for an enquiring mind to ignore.

Did you look at the video I posted? Is there anything there that made you think, or are you happy to go with opinions?

If popular opinions were always right then we would never have got off the ground and anyone who thought that a heart could be transplanted 60 years ago would have been ridiculed for being a dreamer.

I can hear your ancestors, Saltiest, shouting burn the Witch! Burn Her!

And what is pretty obvious? One needs to be a little more informative when barracking from the sidelines if one intends to become involved in rational debate

judging from some other garbage on these forums rational debate rarely exist here.

btw yes i did waych the video. a video does not prove a thing. been through this a few times. im going to put a video up saying the world is flat. lets see how many people (and who) fall for that one.
also, its probable that 12000 years ago there was actually less sunlight as the water may have more airborne, also, less surface water as it was sub-soil, and the world was also of a constant temperature world wide, in fact almost tropical throughout. could explain a few things on this little video. so many possible theories to explain it all rationally. smart people have been here a while. find someone smart enough cause im not!!
i quite like this video actually.
the maps.... hmmm..... who says people werent smart and on the water for a supposed million or more years prior?
as for burning at the stake? well, im not sure it they did that in holland but i will check. i think they just sent them to south africa

some of the people on this forum really have lost grip. that video is the biggest crock.

a lot of it was wrong.

other than the maths being dodgey, there is the fact that there is heiroglyphs describing the construction. they're inside the frickin pyramid. there is also the famine stele

plus a french architect has a method of building pyramids quickly.

the other thing that is completely ignored here is that the sumerians built pyramids long before the egyptians. i think a few people need to google sumer and read the facts. and the fact that the sumerians moved into egypt and brought their building tequniques with them. so there is a proven history of that form of construction predating the egyptians.

it is thought the sumerians were the first pharohs. that they also traveled to other parts of the globe and built other pyramids. there is drawings of them in other pyramids. it is thought that they decended from australoid being asia and australia.

in fact the only uniting element of the majority of stepped pyramids around the world is the sumerians.

ezinearticles.com/?In-Search-of-Atlantis----Getting-Closer&id=313482

they entered egypt after a flood destroyed their civilisation. almost every religion known to modern man talks of a civilisation being destroyed by a great flood. some say it's platos atlantic. there is no doubt that lost civilisation exist below water. some are no longer lost like in japan and western india.

Napoliaphillia? I'm being sarcophastic o' course.

Er.. seriously (for only a moment).

I had forgotten all about the Sumarians (sp?) until this thread but remember being absolutely fascinated by them in primary school. They had the ingenuity shizzle goin on back in the day for sure.

I am a third degree free mason but that does not give me the authority to comment on their origions. My understanding is that masonry, as in building became entwined with free masonry through their ability to do mathematical calculations when building, and they needed to protect that knowledge as it was thier livelihood.

They use a lot of allegory to Solomons temple in their rituals but this does not mean to say that that is the origion.

my reference was pointing out a theory that freemasonry ritual is based on the egyptian rituals. i read an interesting book that was postulating that freemason was in fact the only true religion as it had been secretive for centuries and had therefore not been amended to suit public appeal. combine that with the connection with egypt and sumer and you could suggest that freemasonry is actually the summerian ethos. certainly the importance of knowledge/science and god that the freemasons adhere to could be very similar to sumerian culture.

it's a way out concept and has little proof in the real world but has none the less been explored by others. who knows. maybe the masons stem from the sumerians.

by the way the book is called The Hiram Key. in the first few pages of the book they make it very clear they are theorising.

i think a few people on here shouldn't read it though.

Pffft.. everyone knows petermac built the pyramids.

Yes but who helped him? Someone would have had to keep him on track!

That's an easy one. It was a Japanese girl in the front and a drunk Indian guy around the back (well, trying to be around the back anyway...)

The kept vials of fluoride and vaccines to threaten him if needed.

Nah, can't believe it! There were no aliens and no lasers mentioned in that clip!

In typical builder fashion, they probably roughed it in and then coated it with a cosmetic layer of limestone to make it to spec.

If they were aliens, why didn't the limestone outer layers survive? I'd hate to be traveling in a spaceship designed by those guys if they can't get the outer layer working.

It was meant to be a serious video? I thought it was improv night?

lol, right on FN!

ok,

sausage gets the gong. they are both pointing to the sky......

but the other answer is the last mass migration of the human race occurred at the end of the ice age as global warming caused rising sea levels which sank civilisations and forced people to move to new areas. it's thought the summerians left atlantis after it flooded due to high sea levels and a natural disaster.

hey doc,

i read through the rex stuff. that was a great read. he may be ahead of his time. seems to be a lot of evidance now suggesting the australoid connection.

i'm not so sure australia is eden but it is an interesting thought. i'd be going more for indonesia.

this is a good read.

yes velikovsky is an interesting read, funny how what a lot of his ideas were berated as lunatic and are now taken as common knowledge.

the lime stone casing/coatings of the pyramid was scavenged for resources.

The pyramids were designed by RRD. Ever since there has been obsession and passion on the subject.

If what he puts forward is fact, the people who built the pyramids were probably wiped out and Egyptians of today would have no connection to them at all.

And that is where I reckon Zahi Hawass has interrupted the investigation. Anything that looks as though it may separate Egyptians from the Pyramids is hindered.

I guess the stake of the nation is at risk. God forbid that the Gypos should turn out to be a nation of nile gardeners who built up a religion around relics from a bygone era which they did not understand!

Bacteria coming out of the sea floor at insane temperatures? Now we know that there is life surviving in the most inhospitable environment imaginable would have to suggest that it was there to start with so why could it not have originated from other planets?

i think you could hardly call them "seams", its not like it was moulded or stitched together..
then again maybe it was....

but the eight faces is definately in the design and therefore there for a reason

^ here's my guess.

it was known from back in the day of the greeks that long straight lines looked curved or cambered. the greeks built long post and beam arrangemnts with a camber so when you stood back and looked at the building the parapet or top line look to be level.

could be with the pyramid a long straight side would look bowed so they put a v into it to make it look straight.
