It has been a mixed year this year.
Lots of teams looking like they might go on win the premiership!
As I am a pies man I hope collingwood win the premiership
But I just don,t know

great season very open as a crows supporter i think they are still a year or 2 away from giving it a shake, the finals experience of the pies should see them go all the way.

I would say Geelong have got a pretty good chance
but what about hawkins. He had a nasty hit on Friday
does anyone know the story with him If they lose him that would be
a big shame.

Cats for me!

Cats are the best value at $13.00
Hawks $2.50
Pies $4
Swans $5
Crows $7
Eagles $15

I think it will be hard to beat either Hawks or Pies in the Prelims or before. Swans are looking really good too. Crows have question marks when playing in Melbourne.

But Cats would probably need to win at least 1 interstate trip during September (in all probability)...

Prelim Finals - Hawks & Pies could be the hosts at the MCG, but Swans, Crows, or Eagles could easily be hosting at least 1 of the Prelims.

One thing is FOR CERTAIN... some disappointed fans in September, and the teams slowly fall away!

I've had a look at The Predictor on afl.com.au

Blues - are stuffed. Sorry. Blues need to win 3 out of 3, and even then they need percentage, and luck with other games.

Saints - if they lose to Cats this week, they can start planning some end of season parties.

Freeo - they can run red hot sometimes, but... IF they make it... Finals Week 1 could be v's West Coast (in the West), or v's Geelong or North in Melbourne. Week 2 would be a trip to anywhere, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney... Prelim in Melbourne?... It just smells like too much travelling for Freeo, playing away games coming for say 7th or 8th spot.

What's the rule on a Draw at Full Time in Grand Final these days? Play on for a win, or come back next week?

Finals Week 1,2,3: Draw at Full Time = continue playing for a result. Is it 5 minutes each end?...

Early this season I thought the eagles had a chance, not at the moment though . Hopefully next year when they have all their injured players back.

There are definitely a few teams with the potential to win the flag. Hopefully it isn't the pies [}:)]. (I would also love to see Eddies sad face again)

Finally Funky has put a post in!!!! Where have you been?

As for Premiers, either Hawks or Collingwood.

As for the lead up, wouldn't a West Coast v Freo elimination final in the first week be worth watching.

It's like a big square dropped pie innit? One of the best sights in footy!

Yeh - when the mighty Eagles were forced to pick Bill, the 70 yr old trainer, as a mid fielder i knew injuries had caught up with em. Bloody oustanding efforts to be where they are i reckon. Half a fit team next year and few teams will get anywhere near em.

GO EAGLES!!

Sydders/Hawks/Geelong - or pies - on their day. Impossible to pick. Great year for footy.

Ha ha - Hi Diver, how is your bromance with the (finally a force) Pav goin?

ALL work - no play this year.

What about my homage to the great wing-nutted (wannabe) leader? That was popular.

Home all WA final would be amazing. Just hope Bill the trainer is in good form.

BTW is that eloquent young chap saying his girlfriend was this deep in his colon last night!

Note - the chappy is facing the wrong way and (nearly) all the Eagles fans are watching the game - not the man.. kinda like the players on field. LOL.
