After a trip to Mumbai a few of these bad boys were just the thing with a Ruby Murry.

Hard to say what the greatest beer is. People bag VB as cheap bogan swill. One of the best beers I've had was a VB at a St Kilda pub after walking around the area on a warm summer day. The beer was fresh and it really satisfied.

So if you are thirsty, in good company and the ambiance is right, then most beers are good.

Kingfisher is a good beer but I've Wonly had it in Australia. I think beer is best drunk locally close to where it's made.

My home brew corona -- straight from the keg, smooth as, the dark ale with added caramel and malt is pretty good too

Coopers Pale Ale

Drinking a Stones Ginger Beer at the moment, not as good as mine, but passable.

Many a Newcastle Brown Ale has passed through me and am a huge fan of pommie ales.

I worked in a working mans bar there as a student. Many people mixed their beer with rasberry or black currant.

Refuse unless very thirsty Fosters, VB, 4X, Swan.

Tooheys limit is two.

Lion in South Africa is the only beer with a picture of the factory on the bottle.

Tried Bintang for the 1st time - like designer Emu Bitter with slightly less chemical nasties.

No wonder there are sooo many fat ignorant boguns slipping beneath the water level poolside over there.

PR is right on it. Guinness or McKewans or similar in winter - Corona in summer (icy cold) is hard to beat for mine.

So many good beers out there, so little time.

In that case, Winchester Powerpoints, a CZ 452 rifle, Toohey's to shoot at (agreed) and a Rogers (Little Creatures brewery's best I think) to drink

There is no worse quality beer on the market than Crown lager. Full stop.

Tastes like a soap flannel, loaded with chemical nasties, agree - it gives you a hangover like a train accident after only a couple. Costs big $$ for super low quality. Advertises your are a wannabe blingster with no tatste buds or discretion..

I'd rather drink the cold moring after ralf from an EB dinker than even a single Crown. Have gone sober at free beer event(s) when Crowny was the only option. Much better than even one Crowny wrecking the night.

I'm pretty sure Crown is the the top bit Fosters larger ie, the same brew but the bit at the top of the tank. Might as well drink Fosters at half the price.
By the way, I've never had a beer I didn't like

Crown and Fosters is all part of the Carlton United Breweries group. Just like the mighty VB. I've had a few Crown Lagers and never feel the worse for wear from them. I like it.

Bloke I worked with was a chemist at CUB. He told me something similar. My beer had no head but was not flat and I remarked on it.

He told me that they add and agent that froths. Occasionaly a batch gets a short dose.

Lovely, might explain a few head aches!

Personally I found Kingfisher pretty foul, like most of India. The kingfisher premium was drinkable but it was hard to find in most places.

I'd do the calcs for you but can't be arsed. I have done home brew, from a can/kit and at the hold-your-hand franchises, and as much as I like the it (a lot), you're kidding yourself if you think it's justified purely on an economic basis.

That is unless you value your time at about $4/hr in which case it's a winner!!
