ONE OFTHE BEST THINGS IS ITS SMOOTH 90% OF THE TIME AT ALL THE LOCATIONS... from 10 to 40 knots...............now you just add rolling smooth swells from 1foot to 10 foot.
But if you are talking no white water and flat ..........Champion bay is unreal. Take off from St Georges sail up WIND to the town beach and the break walls, CRUISE out and ALONG and around to Point Moore .......... fang back with as many down winder gybes as you want............
Then theres the Point Moore run on the on shore side ,,,,which is fun ........... to Seperation point and down to the surf life sailing club.
bust anything your 100 and 20 % safe
You can rigg up at Point more or Serperation Point .......for change of sceen
There is also the inside sections at Coronation ............
Something for everyones sailing ability ...............
Ok i may have taken the bait .....lick it ......its 30 plus knots as i speak
out of here .............................have a gd one..... viva labam
The intensity of the sea breezes over the last few days has been pritty well intense.............
And there has also been so much cloud cover , spinning around over head .............. enough to indicate and say no wind to day ?????????????
Point Moore had sand solid to waste high whipping down the beach.
Windy over the weekend NO SWELL ............... ALL WAYS SOME WIND WAVES but, at 20-30.... even they would have been hard to find ......outer reefs only.
Took my own advice and sailed at St GEORGES AND DID an upwinder to town fully lit on a 5.0m..............The water was so clear and the sand patches were on show ............in da champion bay ...................
Also Did and up winder in and out of all the places you need to know about from Point moore. Kind of fun ............................. GOING way inside and over the reef and finding the gaps.
Points Moore is getting a nice summer hook nose on it for fast flat speed gybes
