Well it was last summer I was 1mile off shore i sailed up behind the shark praying it was a dolphin .Before I new it I was 4 mtres away from the Hammerhead shark ,My knees started to shake and I said to myself don't fall off don't fall off, it was only a 6 footer .It just cruised along .I run down wind quick.Next One 1 week later a 5 foot tiger ,It saw me and just took off like a dart. What a slash. It was gone .I've never seen a white pointer yet sailing, only fishing in a boat ,it was making big circles around the boat .This is not **** it was 16-18foot .My old man through his line over it with a 200gm sinker and 6 gang hooks and snagged it's fin ,It took off broke the 200lb line like cotton .

In the first summer of netting, 1937-'38, more than 800 sharks were reportedly caught. The next summer it was 300, and now there is only one shark caught per 100 net days.

While driving to work the other day I swear I saw one driving a bus! But no I have never seen one sailing.

I have also heard they play snooker and/ or pool.

That's an interesting wind, blowing from the left for #1, 7 and 3, but from the right for # 6 and whoever's behind him. The artist was also a bit mixed up about where the clew is.

So, the 50 metre shark in the picture is okay and pretty much spot on?

Snuck up behind a Hammerhead at Scarbs. When I was a few metres away he tried to dive too quick, his tail came out of the water so couldn't get traction and I ran into him. No damage done but did feel sorry for scaring him.
Also had a big Hammer at Lanno surfing the same swell I was riding at main break. I was going like stink to stay on the wave and remember the spay coming off his dorsal fin as he came in from a 45 and shot straight under the board and out the other side. I was maxed out speed wise and this thing left me for dead (maybe I should re-phrase that). At no time did they ever feel a threat, it's when you run from most predator species that they'll come after you.

Seen lots of sharks sailing was only really concerned about one (the others still scare the sh1t out of me).

Stingrays and cobblers are more of a concern as with pricks on the road when I drive to the beach

I saw a shark shuffling to the Party Rock Anthem.

Again, it wasn't sailing nor driving a car.

I think I have seen more while teaching kiting than actually kiting.
Does anyone want a lesson, I promise I won't tell you if I see one
