It breaks down like this:

For a vast nation with only 20 odd million inhabitants this should not really be a problem.. unless there is xenophobia, intolerance or straight out racism at play? 
Conversley there are around 50,000 visa stayers (mainly from 'nice white' UK & US backgrounds) illegally overstaying their visas indefinately per year. These characters generally work under false ID - don't pay taxes and whatnot - thereby leaching off our system like a 50,000 strong parasite.
