I've had a few beers, i'm lacking sleep, and when i cast my eye around this pattern of cheques/checks (what is the correct spelling for that?) the grid lines appear to wobble. Is it just me? or have i stumbled upon a common optical/psychological illusion.

After a few (too many) beers my foot starts to wobble, damn Blundstone wobbly boots do it to me all the time.

It is hard to fixate on the dark grid. It does appear to move to and fro.
