Here ya go.
You can watch it right here as it creeps ever closer and then sucks you up into the space-time continuum and spits you out into some obscure and alternate reality somewhere else.

By some of the posts on these forums, I think it might have happened to some people already. Definitely from an alternate reality.

I remember Albi too. Burnt out our entire farm, only left the house standing. You dig down in the ground now and you can see the coals in places... Glad this one fizzed out and didn't hurt or kill anyone, tho other storms did some serious damage over the weekend... Nature is wielding its big stick this past winter and now summer!

Was my wackiest day at the beach.

Never seen it like that before - such a big swell from the north
Lots of water moving around lots of spine snapper shore-break.

10 more knots and it would have been all time.

Too much on yesterdee but kept looking at the wind direction and wondering if PR was smashin it or getting smashed.

Bit from column A and bit from B by the sounds.

Nutting like the special feeling screaming down a sizeable lump of swell and having the kite go soft onya.

Special feeling in the way that a shart is.

The shart of cyclone kiting?

Just saw the news. wow that was some tide in Perth Last night, as a result of the cyclone. The Swan burst its banks and Cott beach was no more... I was wrong before, tragically 2 people did die as a result of seperate Storms out from the Cyclone. Get funky - mate that is some photo! [your avitar is ummm, yeah ;) U'd be fighting the bikini clad maidens off with a stick at Swanbourne I am sure haha]

Yo Cam, nah - not my photo of the massive shorey. Apparently the pic is from Vietnam.

As for the avatar, it will be disapointing to SB's female devotees, but that's not actually me. I am not nearly as handsome. Haven't had to weild the chick fending stick in some time. In humidity my hair does get a little close to that superb fro tho.

speaking of cyclones. this is what a real cyclone looks like.

the coast on the left of image is qld from sunshine coast north to tip. so you are looking at the entire coral sea.

Hey Gfunky,

I hear you on the chick fending stick. Single again, I wouldn't mind the once in a life time opportunity of being able to wield it! Even pretend ;) I didn't think the wave pic was local, sure is impressive tho... Would be quite a sight coming at you, if you were sitting having a coffee at Port Beach.

Worlds weather is a real mess...
