Heard this on the news and spoke to some people around Mt Pleasant who confirmed that multiple people had seen it. Anyone know more? Not totally unrealistic, once saw someone pull in a 3.5m Bullshark around Coral Bay.

Apparently in the 60s there was a bull shark attack and possibly a fatality. Mt Henry Bridge very popular with water skiers. Also was told bull sharks dont reach 4m. Still got to be pretty unlucky getting attacked in the river. More chance them swimming into the pond around safety bay

I just watched this last night. It's about Bull Sharks. And mentions that attacks have occurred in Australian Rivers as far as 80 miles upstream. The guy presenting it does a fair bit of over acting... but it's worth a watch. (streams directly frim ABC Iview...)

exactly and the apparent attack no-one can accurately give an account of what if it actually happened . Shark may have been caught and provoked , who knows .

I've been on the river all my life and know bullsharks live in the river but i've never heard of a 4metre shark . I call bull**** on that
