Move aside Alex, Rob Douglas has broken the 103 kmh barrier at Luderitz for a new (unconfirmed) world record. From the photo below looks like he was wearing a helmet mounted gopro. Hopefully Youtube will provide in the next couple of days.

You've got to be impressed by the speed these people are getting. Applause to them.

But ... it looks like we need to have different categories of speed records and they win the fastest in a 5m wide, 10cm deep ditch class.

It would be much better if they did it in open ocean with no land, reefs or sand bars within a couple of km in any direction.
