Great to see your all friends .

It's amazing the difference between jumping at the waters edge and on the sand or jumping on grass?

beach jumping is all over youtube and it's enjoyed by lots of people all over the world same as mountain boarding, whats the difference? only that you can't do it. so it must be dangerous??

it's not all about the water and kitesurfing, and yes we do fly kites ontop of car parks at night and its lots of fun and I do lots more stuff in strange places. quick call the police I'm having fun!!!! and it's not kitesurfing so it must be dangerous????

If really don't care what you say it's all small petty talk. Who made the rules anyway Steve from kitepower? .

I have been around long enough to really know what is dangerous and I see so much real danger at Cronulla, it will be banned there, it's only a matter of time and it will be my fault everything in kitesurfing is. I don't care I'm in the parks my spots are safe and there is so many more land spots than water spots and all year round in all wind conditions, must be dangerous not kitesurfing??

Get used to me because you I will be at your beach this summer having fun. And you can't do anything about it it's a free country,

I love the responce, you really like to give it to me.

I have been around from the start, 13 years full time. Show some respect

I'm such a bad person??

getting boring, going for a city ride on my freelines . Oh no!! it's not kitesurfing and I don't do it, it must be dangerous?? call the fun police!!!

we are not concerned about what you do, its where you do it---its always around the masses for maximum self exposure, and in that enviroment u are asking for trouble, which you have caused many a time.
Time doesnt really enter into the equation concerning respect ,its behaviour and attitude that counts most.
We all like to have fun too, thats why we kite,so we dont want DH's like you ruining it for the rest of us who do actually consider other beach users and their comfort and safety.
Surely all the people who comment on your antics cant be wrong, theres just to many of them, stop and think about that for a while

where do you guys find these photos? The Jap guys in mankinis, was one of the most mental things I recon I've seen on the net. Green Pat you have the power, flick the switch. Kosmo Kramer of the kite world pull your bloody head in, think thats been established. How does one get multiple login names? haven't tried don't think I can top Alex Sanz though. Flash Austins probably considered a bit
of a wanker these days? might try that one. No I'll be top hat wanker of all wankers,ha

Kinda hard to stop it when he's the one that starts it.

Usually this stuff gets locked pretty quick because the "group" starts it, he's running around asking for it. It's like the kid in the play ground that wants you to hit him (everyone knew one) and then laughed when you did.

Then again I'm just posting in the hope that someone will quote me so I feel some attention as well

Dude I don't know you from a bar of soap but you sound like a complete tool. Why do you feel the need to keep telling people you've been around since the beginning as though that counts for something. It doesn't.

Sounds like you're so self involved that you enjoy people making comment on you even if it is to criticise you. I guess to that end I've catered to your strange way of thinking as well.

You're in your 40's and you carry on like some immature teenager. Get over yourself.

Thankfully I won't be seeing you on any of my beaches. Condolences to those in the eastern states.

Ok.

Just to get real for a minute.......

When you say

"I have been around long enough to really know what is dangerous and I see so much real danger at Cronulla, it will be banned there, it's only a matter of time and it will be my fault everything in kitesurfing is. I don't care I'm in the parks my spots are safe and there is so many more land spots than water spots and all year round in all wind conditions, must be dangerous not kitesurfing?? "

herein you confess to the very thing that people are upset about !

You say that you don't care if kiting is banned at Cronulla, because there are lots of parks and land spots.

But the locals DO care if there is a ban, because they will have nowhere to go,being normal people with normal lives, homes, jobs etc. While you just move on.

Oh brother, did this all develop from the whole Mambo thread!?... *shakes head in disgust*

Alex, I think you are approaching this the wrong way; moreover your attitude is what seems to be the problem and your obvious disdain towards Steve from KP. I read that you go back years to kitesurfings beginnings and with KP, but what is the point in what appears to be holding grudges!?
I used to work in a Brisbane kitestore, and I may not have the experience you do, but I have learned how to deal with changing brands and business sponsorships in a mature and respectable way.

Get used to kiting being banned at your local spots; Its banned at Wello, but we work around it; its all about working together, NOT saying "Get used to me because you I will be at your beach this summer having fun. And you can't do anything about it it's a free country"... Come off it mate...

Chucking a tanty or u a little loose at the moment?

I think asking for respect when you talk to people like this is somewhat ironic...

Who am I?

I start a thread named after myself, I have the english skills of a primary school kid, I claim to have been kiting for 13 years and still don't know why beach jumping isn't safe.

Actually all your doing is further alienating people and spreading the bad news. I know if you came down to my local you would not be welcome to ride. The hook knifes would be fast into work.

I seriously wonder if your mentally all there, maybe we are being to harsh. This look at me, self idolisation complex you got going is not normal for a 40 year old man. You think everything is centred around yourself, the only reason anyone even gives a crap about you is because your a menace to the sport. You may be able to beach jump semi-safely but it is inherently dangerous especially for beginners. Look what message your sending to them.

My mate whom I taught smashed his calcaneus beach jumping even though I told him not too. He went to hospital where they iced it for 17 hours straight, gave him frost bite. Not only could they not operate then- he had a small chance of loosing his foot. To this day he still has troubles just walking around (2 years later) and hes only 21.

Is that a good reason enough why you should not beach jump.

Get over yourself.

lol.
Public beach kite-jumpers are emos. ^^^
They are emotionally immature people who seek attention to alleviate feelings of insecurity and inadequacy.
Go jump in the desert.

Ah hang on. Lots of abuse and no forum moderation.
Does this mean the usual forum rules about not getting personal, not abusing posters, etc, do not apply in this thread?

Well, technically they do, but no-one had used the word wanker before I last logged in, and Laurie also may have been having dinner.

I think it says somewhere in the forums help about how moderation has a lot of grey areas. Right now, this is one. If anyone can think of a clear answer please PM me.

hey GreenPat

surprised you havent switched the light off on this one yet, although its been fun for the time being. Maybe we should put this one to bed before too long..

I,m guilty but we shouldn't fuel this WANKERS fire to much longer, hes gonna end up with some major chafing. cause we,ll end up paying for it through our taxes/medicare.

and that would really sheit me.

youre friendly friend.

I an surprised someone hasn't given this guy a flogging.
However i suspect he has been flogging himself for so long now he's akin to a punch drunk boxer.

When he say's
"I do lots more stuff in strange places. quick call the police
I love the responce, you really like to give it to me".

Dunno why but that whole George Michael in the public toilet thing springs to mind, who knows maybe you boys may get to see a blow up shepherd or big black brudda doll flying your local beaches....no prizes to guess where the chicken would be attached.....
