Thinking maybe each December with the first solid nor Easter of the month an annual Nobby's to Hams downwinder. A huge ride but fitting for the man.
Enough riders should generate some publicity and hopefully fundraising for his nominated causes. The finish at hams could culminate in a big event at the Mawson pub and more fundraising.
Will seek out other locals and see what we can put together. If we could get a hundred riders should be able to get the local media well and truly on the cause.
Just a thought but we have to do something big in his honor.
See you all Tuesday.
Hey guys
Not sure what you guy's are up to on Tuesday, but I would be planning to be there on Monday if you wish pay your respects to Andy!
A great guy, a gentleman. Much sadness. Still shocked.
The annual downwinder tribute is a great idea.
Never had the privilege of meeting you Andy....but you sound like a top bloke so my heart goes out to you and your family, RIP mate.

Last week we lost an industry legend. I remember going to Andy's windsurfing shop in the 80's when I was about 10 with my Dad to get our windsurfing kit. Now as an adult & in the kiting industry myself, Andy was always up for a chat at all the events and instore when id drop in.
Since moving back to Newy, he was always encouraging to me and my business.
I loved how he loved the girls and treated us as equals.
RIP Andy.
Your business is in good hands.

A message from Anita and the Regan Family
Words at this time are so inadequate to express the gratitude felt for all of the wonderful support during the hardest moment of our lives at Andrew's funeral yesterday. The love we experienced personally and toward the most exceptional person in the world as was Andrew, is so very much appreciated. To know him was to love him. So, as small as thank you can sound, it comes from our hearts with enormous depth and we simply cannot thank everyone enough. XXXXXX
