Had a a sick session with a cool group on a down winder.
Then to make things better some nice guy took this picture of me and it looks like we are going to be doing it all again every day for the next 7 days.
Just got in from a 3 hr session up here, consistent 25 knots, gusting to 30 with more ramps than I knew what to do with. Yeooooowie now I have to ruin an awesome day by going to work.
How good was that, just in from a solo DWer from city to trigg, no one on the water between city and scarbs great run maxed out on the 9m and SB, some great little waves on offer just begging to be smacked. Enjoy the coming week, it looks good.
I don't like riding the 9 on more than 27knots. It's a shame the 7m has a leak.
Got whipped a few times today, backs rather sore.
I'm glad she started to settle down towards sunset.
My body is aching today, 30 kts at Woodies. Think this weeks gonna get me fit again!
Wishy, you back? Or are you missing this?
Just remember the photos of that blokes feet when you think a real big kite is a good idea in 30knots...
Loving the wind though! The 6m is on fire!
Ok everybody you can thank me..
Picked up a new 13m 2 weeks ago and the biggest kite ive used since is an 8.. typical!
I had a fairly gentle after work session at Melville. I do love that spot, though the wind is gusty and no waves. So close to the CBd after work, but a really long beach so lots of space. You can park, rig on grass , launch off sand. I know it has its problems but I do not think there are many cities in the world where you can kite in such a special spot in full view of the CBd.
But I live in Gero, and the wind was going pyscho there according to the port seaview data today. Gero offshore just regularly smashes the forecast. It is one windy place.
We are blessed in wa.
Great photos tl I might stop at wedge for a sneaky kite on my way back to Gero this arvo I think... That sand is so white on the Indian Ocean drive.
Yeh special beach hey. Only thing is that fine talcum powder sand gets in every orrifice you can imagine!!
