I must have just missed you, I was there for two weeks in August as well, think I arrived about the 10th, we didn't get much wind at all, only a few days just powered on the 12 in two weeks.

Got some good surf though.

Great shots Puetz!! Now I'm thinking I "need" to buy a bigger kite...hmmm Naish Fly maybe...

... thanks dude!

I reckon the Naish Fly would work well in 'Bali' winds and being lower aspect would work well in the waves too, if thats your thing.

I'm more of a flat water rider at the moment but would like to get into riding waves. I like the reviews of the Fly. And I really like my Naish Park.

... I'm a big believer in sticking with the same brand of kite throughout your quiver, mainly because you get a similar flying feel, same bar possibly swapable between all sizes and similar power delivery, which seems to follow through all models in a brand.

As you see by the pics, Bali or rather Sanur has alot of flat water and really nice easy waves you can try without any baptism of fire.

cheers,

Robbie

if you like flat water, this is pretty flat water at low tide pics :

He he he.. Some people already getting itchy and sending me questions about the new spot...
Is not really a secret we have been talking about it in our Facebook group already since August when we discover it by chance....

We know for sure that in August-September-October and still even November there is much more wind there then the Southern part of Bali.
We are talking 15-25 knots pretty much every day there is any southerly breeze.
Is in the channel between Bali and Java and the Venturi effect is stroonngggg....
White sand beach, clear cristal water of a color that is hard to find in Bali...
Is far 3 to 4 hours from Kuta/Sanur so to go for a day trip is almost a suicide!

For now we are not sure when the season will start there as we have no reports but we expect to start earlier then Sanur.

A friend of ours is preparing a Kite Camp with tends and bungalows (long house style) in the area that is inside a National Park. It should be ready in few months!
Before we make an official announcement we would like to get our facts straight..

Again if you want to be part of the process, become member of our Facebook Group. Kitesurf Bali.
Bye Jankie
