Hey guys and gals

Just wondering if anyone knows if find boardsports still deal in kite boards?? Had a look on their web page and can only find snow boards and surf gear. Chasing a new set of bindings for my turbo freeride.

Cheers for any help
Davey

My bindings from my free ride broke and got a replacement set for no charge. Was at there dandenong store about 6-9 months ago, still assuming they are there still

My first and second kite boards were both made by Find.

Probably the best bang for your buck out there.

is the fact they have changed their name 3 times a bad sign??

Hi Davey,
About 6 months ago I was online looking at their kite boards and they only had a very limited range. I'm guessing they've stopped making them.
Heard they are decent boards for the price though.

I had a find board a while ago. Didn't last me long though. Had to swap out the fins pretty quickly, supplied with self tappers and the threads died on me quickly. Snapped the board about a year in. I suppose you can't expect much more considering what it cost me.

I had the same problem with the fins, had to replace them after about 4 months cause of the threads.

I replaced the straps and fins with card board products.

Did you have to modify the straps to fit or did they line up with the holes in the deck alright? Only ask cause I tried to fit a set of airush straps but they were 10mm off the holes and didn't really want to start drilling new holes in the pads to make them fit.

Hi Davey, you can send me the distance of the inserts, I can probably help you out with some new straps/pads from the same manufacturer but use the conventional ends that dont break

Yeah Sugarcube will sort you out.

FYI. I upgraded my Find kiteboard with one of Sugarcubes beasts. Great board, bombproof construction. Easy on the knees when boosting.

My fins have been through hell and back and with the fibreglass only just starting to wear through to the carbon layer. I've numerous sand banks and reefs.
I thought they'd be first to go but it was the straps that broke first!
I've only ridden a few other boards but i feel free ride is the best bang for buck by a mile!

Find mostly manufacture for other companies - I had one it was the same as a Best Board exactly. I believe they've also made for Cab and other brands. They make great boards but their accessories are average.

You can still buy from them on ebay.
