You know where you can sometimes see people in the window behind Mel and Kochie? Well some legend got up there with a huge Flying Objects Poster for about 15 seconds while the Busker was on this morning, they also stuck around and had it right in front of the camera for an outside shot when they threw to a break.

Its gotta win lol It was awesome :) Was really cool to know SB people are out there ;)

Just trying to work out how im going to get it off my DVD recorder and upload it in someway for all to view and enter.
and as "rebel" said i would be stoked as i cant afford to buy one so this is path number 2 to get into the sport.

Bugger, I usually watch Sunrise over a bowl of cereal, I was out of breakfast food this morning and gave it a miss.

I look forward to seeing your upload, sounds like you've done some good work, good luck in the comp.

Today was the first time I've watched sunrise in ages. And while watching and looking through the window i thought "now thats a good idea for the seabreeze comp, to get the logo in the background".

I missed the logo today because i was kind of sleep watching, but good effort anyway. It is a highly watched show.

Looking forward to seeing the footage though! Top job. =]

OK, to get it off your DVD recorder, copy it to a DVD disk then rip that to video files on your PC, then edit and upload to u-toobe

Thanks mate, got it off the DVD player onto a DVD but it recorded on was .dub or something, so im converting the DVD to WAV and then ripping it accross and editing but my back up plan is just to film it off the computer if all else fails fingers crossed not.

Cheers and thanks for the feedback everyone.

Thanks mate for putting that up ^^^.

Spent the last two days formatting, ripping, burning and testing my poor skills on windows movie maker.

15 hours to convert to WMV format
4hrs to rip off dvd recorder to disc
1hr to drop scenes into window movie maker 2wice.
2 early mornings spending 4 hours each time out there.

and did i mention technology can be very frustrating!!

1000's of people sit down in the morning Australia wide to eat their breakfast and take their glance at sunrise only to see an interesting symbol reffering to flying objects Australia.

Just to find out that the camera man who films my second part was a kitesurfer

enjoy

I know what you mean with movie maker. I'd never used it before and it's all just too confusing for me. Waaaay too many hours spent making my clip. I'm sure someone with knowledge could have done it in 15 mins

Haha, yep, an absolute nightmare. I have a mate who is into the mountain biking side of things, uses all these programs and makes the most amazing videos, may try and get some lessons off him.

Hmm...send him my way when he's done teaching you :D I have hours and hours of helmet mounted videos doing blackruns on my MTB that I need to chop down to one 10 min clip of the highlights :D

After the Flying Objects Man vid...I don't want to touch it!
