I wonder if they go home and watch hours of bouncy footage as they get in the way and crash there kites smack bang onto the beach.
Is this just a WA thing?
Kook or not, there's something about the intention to get footage that must often get in the way of appreciating the actual moment as it is experienced.
That said, there are some vids that really do capture a wonderful moment and I'm glad people take the time to make them.
Aim straight at them and watch them Sh** themselves and stack hard..
Then double back and say.. Oops sorry didn't see you.
Hopefully they will get it on their 'Kookhero Hd' for their viewing pleasure.
i actually used 1 for a bit when i was learning, to go home and figure out wat the F$%^ i was doing wrong at the time. Good tool for it!
I have no objection to anyone filming their session.
What I think is amusing is when they post bland, kooky video on here thinking that nobody will take the p1ss. Then get upset when they get panned!!

my grandparents took a kodak box brownie movie camera (wind up not battery powered) with them wherever they went in the 1950's & 1960's.
i now have had the films converted to dvd and i am really glad that i can look back at their colourful lives and their pursuits!
take all the footage that you can people, your distant offspring may just remember you with fondness and pride.
The ultimate was at Woodies on the weekend. This Go Pro junky had the triple whammy! - Board cam, Head Cam and Kite Cam.
He also could not relaunch his RPM...
