I am wondering what others use to make their body not look like a microbe? Now that I got the camera stable and figured out how to use it LOL

Heh SD, Where is that location in your vid, It looks real sweeeeet There are some other posts on this forum where there are line mount set ups just above your desheet straps that some fellow kiters have discussed that work quite well and stop one from looking like a proverbial microbe.

The location is Maui where I live :) If your ever here I can always go kite with ya.

Line mounts disturb me as they can interfere with kite operation :(

Line mounts dont alter kite operation at all, well if you have the right type.

Iv even had to self rescue with my Go pro and line mount on and it worked perfectly.

First I wanted to say that I enjoyed watching your vid SD. Maybe we could all benefit from requesting to who ever makes Go Pro to bring out a version with a telephoto version but I suppose waterproofing becomes an issue unless there was a screw in mounted and gasketed seperate lens kit that could be developed. Would love to come kite Maui some day SD. Got to puts some serious bucks together in the mean time

This is FOV change of 1080p thats my next thing over 720p I will try next time I go Kite. I think its great to have video like this but the pisser is that Go Pro seems hellbent on the wide angle.. I wish they would release a normal field of view.

However the reef is beautiful so thats awesome :)

As for visiting do not worry too much if the USA keeps crashing it will cost pennies I am under no illusion of how bad things are here LOL!!! Although hey I always wanted to visit Queensland so when I go to Australia again I might visit there :) Just depends where you are.

I am going to put together more video too as I recorded 8 gigs of video that day.. The waves got quite a bit bigger and I decided to do some stupidity.. Most people ride downwind to ride the waves I decided to push upwind as hard as I could and ride the waves upwind toeside ROFL... Nobody was near me so I was acting like a idiot...

Heh SD, yeh your right. I have been watching the US Dollar taking a big nose dive it looks like my trip to Maui is getting closer and closer

I sent an email to GopRo Support to get them to stick there head in on this Seabreeze Forum so that they could have feedback on there product at the coal face. Who knows something good may come of it

I live at the best place in Aus (The Gold Coast) so just book your ticket for here next time your coming over (The guys in WA might dispute this as they do get better wind most of the time but not all of the time ). Make sure it's our summer months as thats when our seabreeze season is on. Although it missed us completely this summer gone past as everyone could vouch. Hoping it will be back at this years season start September/October. Cheers

Ok ok ...ha ha .........this just has to be a joke.

Sorry I dont mean to bag your home town but the Gold Coast is the pits dude.
( Full of bogans, skanks and the unemployed on permanent holiday )

Slip just south of the border and you will find a paradise or go a bit further north to the Sunshine Coast.........Gold Coast Pfffft.....

ok

I'll second this. In fact I've just gone one step further and built a stabilizer for the linemount. Several of the same style have been made before so I thought I would improve and make it a semi-flexible one.

I am not sure if facebook stuff shows properly here. If you can't see the video and/or photos PM me and I'll upload differently.

Video quality or trick absence is imaterial here - this is only for stabilization tests.

Will have to see about building one of these. This is some recent video that I want to get on some form of kite mount go here again.

Btw SirV you can use the 2010 bar with the 2009 kites. I have mine modded to be like the 2011 bar with springs and the new new chickenloop.

Cool. I'm about to post a 2 min video of what it was like before the stabilizer bar, before the de-shaker and after. Just for a laugh and comparizon. Makes me want to reach motion sickness tablets.

This way we can compare Apples with Apples

Updated video with Go Pro. And the winds were ultra nuclear today. I was borderline overpowered on my 7m Crossbow, I could have gone to my 5.5 Nomad but I did not feel it was needed.
