This is just a quick little video from our trip to Inskip Point on Saturday. It's basically the only place rideable around here in a SW besides Bribie and although the wind is fairly clean, it tends to be very up and down just because of the wind direction. Most of the stuff is from a surfboard because the wind was light for most of the time.

For those that don't know Inskip Point is where barges take cars over to Fraser Island

Check it out

Good work Keahi, I do feel it is worth pointing out that the fins of your surfboard will work much better when pointing down though!

My old windsurfing spot back when the only kites available were two line Wipikas.

It is very good in a south-easterly around the corner a bit more with an outgoing tide.
Way windier than any other spot apart from Double Island Pt. Sometimes even a little cross-off wave. The current between the mainland and Fraser Island is pretty strong though! The only company I had in those days was a dugong and the odd turtle.

It is colder than it looks and although the water temp is pretty warm the wind was freezing and most people do wear wetties. Unfortunately I don't own a wetty so I get to freeze. Still probably nothing to compare it to VIC though. It's bearable here.

Yea, It seems like it would work in pretty much any direction because of what's around it. The channel between the Mainland and Fraser is pretty good but pretty sketchy if you get into trouble with the current and the Noah's around there.

I love the creativity the guy riding strapless has... it looks so easy when he does it
Though, I wonder how long until he looses a toe!

great vid. would have thought the board upside down thing would be a bit dodgy if you slipped but. wouldn't the fins hurt?

Yes I know, riding the board upside down could end in tears but it's pretty fun to try and it actually works pretty good. Wanted to try a couple flips out of that so you end up with the board the right way up but it was harder than i thought.

Bloddy dodgy Keahi, what sort of example are you leading??
No helmet?
No impact vest (fin proof of course)
No EPIRB
No strobe
No mobile phone or radio

You are a disgrace, shame on you!
Who's camera was that anyway?

Dogman, it's nothing Solar Resin can't fix but I thought it was kind of funny.

Steve, camera belongs to me, it shoots really good quality.
