I just saw the trees moving out the back at work so i checked the graphs and that looks very much like a Sea breeze to me!

Its only August and we haven't even had time to take bets on when the first sea breeze was going to come in!

Lets hope it is a good omen for the wind in Perth this season

Yeh Damo thought the same thing. Been turning southerley for a few weeks now on the sunny days, but today had all summer about it, apart from the colder temp and lighter winds. But from the right direction and sourced from the land heating. Actually did a down winder on a sector and the 12m, was only 6 to 10 knots down here, but no bloody winter holes in it. Nice and steady like a Seabreeze should be. Stoked.

Yeah, thought the same thing.
It was late and light but looked very much like a Seabreeze.
Didn't have the gear in the car though...
Bring on the summer!

Was at Wedge Island today, definitely a seabreeze wind hit 14-16 knots at 4pm, did not bring the kites :( only paddle board. Seabreeze forecast let us down.

So its El Nino year ? Early season plus stronger winds :)

20 to 24 knot southerly in Gero, all afternoon...pity I'm working in perth all week.
Saw out the office window 1 kite cruising out of point Walter. Went down to Melville by 5 but not enough wind. Bummer.

Hey Triggerhappy, what were you doing at Wedge today? Were you looking for GWS's on that SUP, bit of a contrast from yesterday must have recovered from the man flu.

Driving along the beach from lancelin to Wedge :) Did not see any sharks but almost got stuck in the deep stuff. Wind was too strong for the SUP. Leighton tomorrow?

I was fishing off ocean reef. It definitely turned sw. I took this pick just before it picked up. Had this punter hanging around for a hour or so. I think these dewarf minkies like the pulse my sounder puts out. The mutton bird doesn't seem too phased.

last 3 days we have managed a seabreeze in Brisbane , fairly light but kitable ,Wednesday got up to 13-15 kts . Looking good for better winds when the land heats up a bit , I recon 4 - 6 weeks we should start looking at some nice solid seabreezes ,now that we are back in the El Nino pattern.

Can't wait for the first big 25kt NE"er to come barreling down the bay...................................bring on summer..

We had a Seabreeze yesterday in Sydney, first one of the season, sure it was only 10-12 knots but it was a true nor-easterly!
