Good times indeed. For those of you that dont know, juicerider ran the first proper kiteschool at pinnas. Good to see him in the water after a long break and still going 100 miles an hour, Boots and twinny, unlike most of us "mature' kiters that have had to slow down a lot!. Didnt most start out with Wipikas?

...haha.. one has to love that nostalgia thing... suddenly reminded me to my first kites: 9m and 15m AR3 Cab two liners, all of them on a 6' directional board (I still have it, would be good for L2L, if anyone interested)... my skill and confidence must have shrunk since 2000, as I would be hesitant to hook myself onto those monsters again (no depower, no QR)....

While I don't belong to the club of 'hard men from way back' I fondly remember a well-known Pinnas personality (J....) from Japieland kiting on stacked foils around the time I started. He got lofted pretty bad on one of those early kites a few years later.
