Looks like it, but winter will come around soon enough. Time to dust off the surfboards - unless of course you have been using them all summer in the perth slop. Funny enough talk boards and kites down monday, got an awesome surf in that swell, then wind kicked in for an hour - lightesh but okay. Sort of a metaphor really for the summer seasons transition / end.

I am surprised the season was as good as it was with the incredibly warm Leeuwin this year [water temp 25 degrees in Perth still]. 3 cyclones made February interesting with those rare North swells for surfing but a total washout for wind. March has been surprisingly good with a heap of 7m days with swell. South coast WA has had and is still having an all time season, but the far north has season very little wind a lot of rain and cosntatnt troughs, so I guess your season is all about your geographical perspective. Overall I would rate the season as below average but I have given a pass mark because it lifted its game in an often terrible March. Roll on winter fronts [I rate last winter as the worst in memory for wind a swell].

nope. I'm sure geraldton etc rocks but it's not perth is it? Isn't that where you are eppo? hahah. I'll take my year round kiting in warm waters with no great whites. No car breakins to report either.

Perth is so sh!t, the water isn't smooth enough, sometimes you have to jump over the waves...it's just not kiting. I'm never kiting there again....
