I just got back to Perth and I am just about to go straight to sleep.
But first a massive thanks first off to Drew and Darren for all the work you guys did and second a huge thanks to all the sponsors and a final thanks to everyone that turned up for what was an epic weekend.
Even though I personally did not even get the chance for a kite it was a great event.
Right now time for bed.
Oh it happened. It Fkn blew it tits off. Friday solid Saturday solid and Sunday well 20knts early and cranked.
Two years of no wind this weekend certainly made up for that.
Rooted and sore blood shot eyes.
Be back next year for sure.
Here's some pics (courtesy of surfingboye):

IT looked sick Congratulation to James Storm for 1st for juniors and seeing photos above I only found out throught Seabreeze? Nice
Was a really good weekend in Dongara for Kitestock 2013.
Was pretty windy all weekend. Friday/Saturday was around 20kn with 1 foot of mushy wind swell. Lots of demos on offer however I didn't try any kites...
Wave riding comp was on saturday. Overall attendance was lower in numbers than what I was expecting, maybe 12 people in the open mens...? Conditions were fairly poor with three quick hits being a decent scoring wave. There was three Ozone Reo's (2x 8m and one 10m) in the four man final which I thought was pretty cool. I better add I went on to win the final (typical east coast trophy stealer).
Highlight of my Kitestock trip was Sunday:
On Sunday I hooked up with the Axis Kiteboarding crew and kited the Marina in the morning which was probably head high and clean cross-shore 30kn. Waves were pretty nice, a little fat on the shoulder though. Only three of us out, Leo, Kim and I.
Later that arvo we trekked to kite Spot X. Only our crew of 5 out and it was awesome. Five foot peaks and a stiff cross shore wind. One of the guys was on a 4m BWS!
Photos to come of the two sessions!!!
Anyway, cheers again for all the hospitality, I'll be back next year for sure!!!
Just a couple I took from Kitestock on South Beach...
About to do a Saturday downwinder.
South beach demo hub.
A couple of kites on the water.
Someone trying to make something of it.
