Talk as much as you want dude.....Andy Yates turned it around from last year and made everyone look average, local boy Brad was throwing down big and was landing stuff early, but failed to impress his peers who at the end do the voting. The rest is history.

hey VB Man! I got some talk- a few shout-outs for all those involved,

it might be a bit long, but it all needs to be said, so here goes!

First the thanks: As much as the Jam was about the riders doing their thing on the day, it was only a small part of the 'behind the scenes' action going on by these volunteers to make it happen.

The WAKSA crew, taking care of the crappy jobs that no-one else ever wants to do- the admin, the cooking and event supervision, massive efforts by Brad, Ray, Pat and Phil.

The boat people: Crazy Canuk, Bill, Da Moose and Leon for keeping us entertained with their witty (and sometimes dubious) commentary and tunes, and a special shout for Pierre who donated his boat for the day- that guy will do anything for a coupla beers!!

The friends who jumped in at all the right times to work the signals, control the heats, set up (and pack down) the structures,Christophe, Rich, Jo, Adam, Sue n' Adam Schofield, Chris, Brad Melville (1st guy on the scene even after a big night out!), Nic, Mel, Paul Burton, Matt and Norita, Damo and Enid.

Massive shouts to our sponsors,

Rockingham City Council: These guys are so supportive and accommodating, definitely pushing the events and kite scene for Rockingham Shire.

The DEC: Sean and Dave for all their efforts in enabling the event to take place in a protected nature reserve.

Rich Lefroy for providing the time and expertise in producing the event website, check his other stuff on: http://www.richardlefroy.com/

Christophe and Dave at Kite Elements clothing- these boys are always first on the scene with support and prizes, and have been close to KJ from the start.

Angostura: Duncan bringing the coldies and the best beach bar in the business!

A very generous prize from Darren Marshall at Australian Kiteboarding School.

Huge support and prizes from West Oz Kiteboarding's Jason, Sonya and crew, wicked slider! Thanks guys..

Steve, Cat and Megan from team Red Bull, bringing the event marquee, and the wings.

WA Surf: Phil and Chris put in some great prizes on the day.

Paul Burton- chief KJ photographer, leading the pack of paparazzi,

Little Creatures: KJ's favourite and exclusive beer suppliers, helping the voting process along at the end of the day!

A huge thanks to the riders who took part, putting on the show and showing us all the many aspects of kiteboarding, taking to the Jam and creating the best non-stop kiting action you're likely to see anywhere!

Sounds like it was a very impressive event and great to hear it went off so smoothly with wind and weather.
From what I hear it was really well organised and there is a clever collaboration of volunteers that worked behind the scenes to make it happen.
Awesome stuff!

Hey Guys

That was a fantastic event. Heaps better than last year, with a few more nice touches, like the food, ice-cream and the music Pa system from the boat.

Event was fantastically organised by Lance who has worked so hard to pull this one out the bag. So although he is so generous in handing out thanks to everyone else.

Lance Well done.

Hopefully we will see some more pics and video footage from the day up soon.
