Tks Alex... I thought that was the case and I have tried it before, but from the kite. This means the image is too far out for any detail.

Another way of course is to do like you and get a linemount for the Pentax but for that there is the GoPro, the image is much better.

Tks for finding information for us.

Anyone taken some photos with a luminx?

Not photos as they unfortunately don't have increment shooting. Damn shame as the lense processor would be top notch in that role.

The vid quality on them is great (not quite as sweet as GP - but a better family camera in the Lumix anyday). Unfortunately i have been too lazy/time poor to edit up the vids or capture stills from it.

BTW - it is 720p (I also use AVCHD lite instead of mpeg) and I'm happy with that.

Some noice photos fellas - regardless of camera inefficiancies.

I like the W90. Attached are a couple of snaps from Denmark WA.

The green reef looks brilliant......so do the the babes on the beach.

Get a gopro!

I got one on my helmet, and surf board, and shortly kite and kite lines.

But a gopro cant take great shots from the kite, too wide screen, thats where a lumix camera would come in, some one tell Lumix to upgrade there software for interval shooting and they would sell heaps.

Below is the go pro in High Def wide screen helmet cam. Top down Kite view is on the shi#ty W90 video.

I will post how to attach gopro to helmet soon as had some questions about it.

Below vid uploaded in high-def and widescreen
