It could of been the start of a good add for a new kite brand. He might want to get a bit better at kiting to make it work though.

Could easily have got this guy (below) to give us some flying footage... ho hum... just like every other kite brand out there. BUT How many kite makers rock up at a beach and hand out demo models to average punters without even asking what level of kiter they are????? something about that says 'confidence in product' to me.
i think all kite companies would get average punters to test their kites. Pros can fly any peice of shiit and make it look good. its the yunters that will find the flaws in the product that good guys might miss.
Your replacement may be a better kiter but can he drink a bottle of tequila and walk on a ledge 9 floors up?
hmm maybe not.
but he did repeatedly boost over the bloody bonfire during moonlight kiting last night (windy + flames... not good) despite the sparks getting far too close to his kite...
